He should have thought of that before he conveyed the death penalty on those he murdered in cold blood.  If he gets his wish we will know who is really behind it.  McVeigh got his due and so should this cowardly murderer.

McVeigh didn't have the Muslim world behind him!
This man should have been dead for years by now!

McVeigh was prosecuted according to law and justice was served but we now know how the interpretation of law has changed under this Administration.

I am against the death penalty except in those cases where it is so clear that the individual did it and the motive is especially heinous.  I think in a case like this a judge should be able to say that it so obvious that due process goes out the window and in a very short time he is sentenced and put to death.  Make it a panel of judges but by the time most killers are strapped to the table it is decades since they did it so while punishment is given there is no deterrent value at all.

Certainly the punishment system in some Muslim countries is kind of screwed up but one cannot say that some of it has a pretty strong deterrent value.  Watch someone getting stoned to death for adultery or their hands lobbed off with a a sword for stealing and most people will have to be in a pretty dire situation to even consider doing either.

It just is sad that someone who decides to kill others is not man enough to admit it and face the punishment.

I've never liked the death penalty. People are capable of error, and there's no way to correct our mistakes. But that's not to say that no one deserves to die. And there are cases where there is no question of guilt - like when you kill 13 people and get caught while you're doing it. There is no question that this scumbag is guilty of 14 counts of murder, so why the delay? If they need someone to serve on the firing squad, I'll pay my own expenses out to Texas. Of course, my eyes aren't what they used to be, so I can't guarantee accuracy!

Swift justice.

April 13, 1865 - Lincoln shot by J. W. Booth.

May 10, 1865 - Military tribunal convened to try nine assassination conspirators.

June 30, 1865 - Verdict rendered.

July 7, 1865 - Four conspirators hanged.

From crime to punishment - 85 days.

Why is this guy still alive?  Shave him and shoot him.  (And feed him fish.)

He took an oath, he had no trouble killing clean shaven, he can go to trial clean shaven.  Either that, or give back the $6900 a month he makes from the military, try him in civil court, and let the inmates have him.

Or better yet, just announce the date, then shove him out the Ft. Hood gate!
