Roger Pardo-Maurer, the former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Western Hemisphere Affairs (2001-2006), joined Jorge Ramos on Univision Noticias on Monday to discuss the unfolding disastrous withdrawal of US forces in Afghanistan.
During their conversation, Pardo-Maurer told Ramos the Department of Defense had foreknowledge of the Kabul Airport suicide bomber but denied permission to fire a Predator Drone missile once they had a lock on him.
13 US servicemen and women were killed in the blast along with over 100 Afghans.

Report: Taliban gives US tanks, military equipment to Iran
The Taliban has begun turning over American-made military equipment to Iran, according to a report by Iran International.
According to the report, images on social media show military equipment which was given to the Afghan army by the US in Tehran and other parts of Iran.
Photographs also show armored tanks and Humvees being transported towards Tehran.
Two of the images were posted by acting Defense Minister of Afghanistan Bismallah Mohammadi, who called Iran a "bad neighbor" and said that the country's "bad days are not eternal."
Last week, Iran offered to resume fuel shipments to Afghanistan to prevent an economic collapse.

There have been several posts and threads that tell you exactly why you should have hope. Just for starters, we all see what biden is doing, we know he is inept, but the word is out, everyone else sees it too.
We also know the American people did not put biden in office, those who cheated, put him there and that is getting exposed. We also know biden is not popular nor is what he is doing popular, the American people know better.
We see a democrat party that is in a civil war where neither side will win, and they know it.
We see a democrat controlled congress that can not get anything passed.
On the local level we are seeing local parents finally getting off their butts and demanding to be a part of what their kids are learning in schools.
We are seeing people getting tired of the government lying about their health risks.
While the biden administration is doing everything it can to destroy American we are seeing people getting involved and fighting back against mandates.
All of this has been posted many times, stop acting or believing all is lost and there is nothing we can do about it. If you are not seeing where there is hope, you are not looking for it.
We do not have to wait for the end of times or for our life to be over, we do not have to accept defeat from those who do not play by the rules, we do not have to lose this, WE ARE BETTER THAN THAT. God gave us the ability to govern our self, thank God we have those who will do just that.
