The Obama administration revealed today that it will not take the fight over executive immigration amnesty to the Supreme Court, essentially admitting defeat in its fight to lift a court-ordered stay placed by a Texas judge.
Obama's executive actions still have to be settled in court, but yesterday's decision prevented the administration from moving forward in its efforts to sign up illegal immigrants for the amnesty programs.http://www.breitbart.com/big-government/2015/05/27/defeat-obama-wont-take-executive-amnesty-fight-to-the-supreme-court/
If I were in his place I would not want this Court to decide (and probably further limit) the Constitutionality of executive orders to begin with. Which is something (like the Patriot Act) that needs a few limits to prevent ideologues from such flagrant abuses as his. At this point he's beginning to sound like he's throwing crap at walls to see what sticks, rather than present any unified plan he can sell to a public becoming aware how bad his reign has been.
I'm surprised he gave in so quickly. He's such a devious SOB, he must have something up his sleeve!

I was thinking the same thing. However, he does not want to have any more setbacks on this deal. Look for it to be a real issue for democrats in 2016. They will still push for this and talk about being elected again so they can continue to appoint the "right" kind of judges. They are desperate so they will come out of the closet on judge appointments.

Yea, its getting harder and harder for his highness to build his legacy. Reminder when we were told he was the most intelligent ever?

He's quite likely going to just go with a backdoor version of the same plan. He doesn't want to draw too much attention to various agencies efforts to ease up on enforcing our existing laws, even more than his administration has.

I totally agree with that, wally!
It does matter to the Kenyan, the damage is already done and it is still going to be done, illegals are still gonna cross and BP and the other security organs of this regime are still under orders to stand down.
Yeah its a victory but a hollow one.

^That.
We'll still get a flood of illegals into the country by the end of his Administration.

They will just rewrite the executive order eliminating the 3 year extension and a few other things and re-issue it!
He can stay their deportation for 2 years comply (sort of) to existing law and push their deportation hearings past his term! His been knocked down but not out!!
