what stood out or surprised you?

I was pleased at how cool, prepared and aggressive Romney was.

It wasn't close...

I was impressed by Romney because unlike McCain, when he felt O was mis speaking about his plan, he spoke up, sometimes even talking over Lehrer to tell his truth.

Mitt was clearly tired of the Obama camp putting words in his mouth.  Even conservatives had to be pleased.  Less federal control.  More control to the states. 

"CBS News instapoll: 46% said Romney won. 22% said Obama won. 32% said tie. Decisive win for Romney."

I sure did.  I hope that that is at least somewhat representative of the barometer of the country.

I think they clearly were. He had a nearly equal mix of voters who voted for both Obama and McCain. They were overwhelmingly pro Romney after the debate. Romney surprised me with his aggressiveness. It was also one of the best debates we've had in terms of style. They candidates got to speak freely and weren't tightly controlled by a left-wing mod.

When he wins, just watch the change in business--even in NOVEMBER. Watch oil prices drop (if we're not in WWIII)

nobama did regain a little ground about 2/3's way in, but it was more like treading water. romney ruled otherwise. yay for the USA

I have a feeling that Barack and Michelle won't be doing the wild thing on their anniversary tonight....

Exactly... Let's get him in and then start applying conservative pressure.....

Give him a TEA PARTY (not Repubican) majority in the Senate, and that'll happen for sure.
