"President Obama and Hillary Clinton's idea that we should bring tens of thousands of Syrian Muslim refugees to America is nothing less than lunacy," he said.

Senator Cruz is absolutely correct.  Obama hates this country and is destroying it.  As mentioned elsewhere on this site this morning, 10,000 "Refugees" have been brought to New Orleans.  How many ISIS fighters are among them?  We have no way of knowing.  Obama has become a dictator and no one even tries to stop him.  He will not relinquish the office of President when his term is up.

I just watched Obama's speech and just when we think he can't get any worse - he does. It was an embarrassment to the US and all of us citizens. It was so weak and another Islamic apologetic speech. No resolve, little support for beating ISIS and overall pitiful performance. Very sad. The entire country should be outraged at his weakness. To the people of France we apologize for lack of leadership from our president.

I don't quibble about the numbers and the locations.
The unknown is how many made it to Michigan via our friends and Canada, walking right across  at Windsor. Hector Garcia has it pretty well pegged.  Why don't the candidates talk about this? Go figure.

Pedestrian traffic on the Ambassador Bridge is confined to single-file and fully-regulated at both ends of the trip across the Detroit River. Of course bootlegger-style boat traffic might exist, but Coast Guard and other federales all keep tight watch for it. You're more likely to see them coming up in 52-foot trailers out of Texas.
