Getting use to hearing phrases like this to describe Ted Cruz:
"steadfast devotion to conservative principles"
"steady as a rock"
"the guy hasn't been flip-flopping like everyone else"
"don't think he'd fly off the handle and do something stupid if elected"
"he's not full of himself"

Talking with a guy last week, best described as a Blue-dog Democrat, or Reagan Democrat, unsolicited, said he was all-in for Cruz!
"the only honest one in the bunch", "he'd do all the stuff Trump would do, without the ego", "no way in hell I'll vote for another Bush or Clinton, they're identical"  (from liberal Milwaukee, WI)

(all of the above, paraphrased, very positive for Cruz)
