Not so funny: this confirmation will go through what's left of Hairy Weed's Senate like shit through a goose. There's not much controversy in her past, and she's already been confirmed once as the Kenyan's nominee for a federal judgeship in 2010.
Missed my point, I see.

They only have until Christmas recess to get approval from the judiciary committee and a vote on the senate floor with republicans blocking with every procedural trick they know. If Harry Reid pushes this through under his revised filibuster rules there will be a snowballs chance in hell that the republican would ever consider giving the minority party any rights in the next senate.
I think this will go into the next senate!!

You may be correct!

There is obviously a pragmatic reason Obama nominated a black female for the position...

Dems can play both the Race Card and the War on Women card if they don't rubber stamp her nomination.

It didn't work during the election and I'm not sure it would work now!

Here's a thought Holder says he will stay on until his successor is confirmed. Why not stall her conformation and start impeachment proceedings against him at the same time? Now that could be fun!!

No one listens to the MSM anymore!!

Holder doesn't have the democrat support Obama has (and his is slipping) There may be enough democrat senators that would love to nail Holder to send a message to Obama. There are plenty of grounds to start those proceedings and it would send a message to every other dept. head in these out of control agencies!

The Dems LOST big time.  Who cares if they play the race card and the war on women ... obviously the majority isn't buying that b.s. anymore.  B.O. may feel he can still use that crap, but we should all know by now that he is still full of himself and quite delusional.  You would think that an overwhelming majority of people voting against his policies and members of his own party distancing themselves from him would have knocked him down a peg or two.

Knocked him down?  He's much too delusional for that and would never admit failure of any kind.  I'm in agreement with you in the fact that playing the race card is too old by now and the war on women has proven to be unuseful tools, no longer a positive venture for the dems.  The voice of America has spoken.  Washington was broken and desperately  needs fixing.  We are on our way to mending our party and building the people's confidence members to do what towards the ability of our party to govern.  Conservative and TEA input have done for the Rep party what it couldn't have done on it's own.  Obola may as well get on with the business of actually doing what the electorate voted him to do-anyway what he vowed he would do.

That's never going to happen Obama will do Amnesty on his own. I can't see Boehner and McConnell being that stupid.

Hell, I even missed my own point.  :tounge: She was nominated and confirmed for a US Attorney seat, not a judgeship. And she was confirmed by what was called at the time a unanimous voice vote in the Senate.

Hard to see how a whole bunch of Republicans still serving in the Senate four years later are gonna make a lot of waves because the exact same woman is being offered as the new US AG.

Tell Toy that if you were a bottle of wine you'd not be old but vintage. On second thought don't tell Toy that because she might lock you in the cellar for a decade.
