Well the GOP/RINO failed us miserably, so I see two options.
Actually for me, one option, forming the tea party as an actual party and tell the GOP to F-Off and Die.

The other option is pressure on the RINO, but we know from experience they just ignore.

So tell me, are you prepared to dump the GOP?

The social cons failed us miserably. People are not afraid of the homo anymore. Barry Goldwater warned the GOP about getting in bed with the Evangelicals. He said it would eventually destroy the party as demographics and values change (and he said that in the 60's.) Boy, was he right.
Skepticism, like chastity, should not be relinquished too readily.

An actual 3rd party would be good for this countries politics.

Ron Paul, Ralph Nader, Dennis Kucinich and Jesse Venture as the leaders. I would vote for that ticket.

It is time for us to make the Republican Party a "third" party.

You lost today kid....

I don't see how it could work. Liberals will always be united, even though they all want different things. Since we failed to win as one party, I think that splintering will only lessen our chances in the future.

Unfortunately, it's called the path of least resistance. We've got individual liberty, responsibility, and hard work, up against, government responsibility, free stuff, and collective salvation, in which the individual cedes control over to a, (supposedly), all knowing, all caring government.

We have reached the point, where the majority of our population, if given a choice between an easy path or a hard, (but rewarding), path, will take the easy path. I'm not sure that we will ever overcome that.

We literally just lost the country, and you're concerned about our chances for the future?
If something is broke beyond repair, it's time to quit screwing around and build a new one.

I'm not actually disagreeing with you, just playing Devil's advocate.
I posed this question, because I'm only the first to broach the topic, there is going to be a movement whether we like it or not.

I think we need to hammer this out here, so others will have a better handle on what they can expect.

You and 2% of the rest of the population.  I'm sick of the faux RP supporters (whose issue is drug use, abortion, homosexual rights) lecturing the rest of us that we should surrender our values and join the 2% in the hope that THAT's the path to victory.

We need to clean up the Republican Party and stop supporting (in ANY) way the MSM. They need to die over the next 4 years so they can't carry water for the Socialists in our midsts.

I'm not disagreeing with you either. I would love to see a conservative party rise from the ashes. However, as long as we use our current voting process, and the majority is in favor of an ever expanding government, along with promises of redistributed wealth and an easier life with less work..................................how is a conservative party going to get them to vote against that?

Obama is truly the Manchurian candidate. I was convinced that their timing was off, and they would never pull off what they just did. I was wrong. The really sad part is, the only chance we have for reversal, is if Obama continues our path of fiscal disaster to the point that everyone is in a state of unrelenting pain 4 years from now.

I suspect that he will forego that by continuing to print and borrow money, and creating the illusion that we are recovering.

How long can that go on before the Crash?

JustKari

I wonder if the third party voters had any effect on the final outcome, I really didn't see third party results posted.  The three people that I know voted third party were from Romney states.

I am not really sure how I feel about a party split, the only way to attract libs is by becoming more lib, and I would be more likely to vote more right, than more left.

Not much longer. We've seen it happen. People were buying television sets as investments, due to the currency becoming worth less every day. We've already had our credit rating downgraded. If we lose our ability to borrow, printing will be the only way to keep the illusion alive. :scared:

Sadly I think you're correct, that is the plan.
Then the question is whether the rest of the world will accept our massive debt as a continued safe haven.

You better let the adults take care of this.  You're only going to make it worse.

The dollar is up today. We will be able to watch Europe go over the fiscal cliff first. I suspect that in the coming 4 years we will witness a complete reshuffling of global economic power. According to plan...........we will not be at the top of the heap.

My first message to the GOP:
Quote
You have now been unsubscribed from all GOPUSA E-mail lists.
We hope you continue to enjoy the GOPUSA web site.

My next one will be to my Congressman Tom McClintock.
He will know as a party that they are in serious trouble, though I suspect he already knows that.
