Title: Christmas Challenge
Post by: Solar on October 09, 2021, 10:59:44 AM
Yes, I know it's early, but people are already buying gifts and for this to work, you need to agree now as family and stick to the deal.

First off, no CCP made crap, and most importantly, make the CCP feel your wrath by not buying from the corporate global community of big chain stores, where 90% of the shit they sell comes from China.

Shop Mom and Pop Stores! The beauty of this is how it effects our economy in a positive manner by buying locally for American made products, and how it negatively impacts China when none of their crap gets resupplied after Christmas.

Spread the word, copy and paste this in all social media, we can all make a difference!

I do this anyhow but its a great idea to spread around.  I have avoided certain "woke" stores and I always read the label. I buy as much produce as I can from local farmers at their roadside fruit stands, eggs from the eccentric cat lady down the road. We shop at an Amish store to buy meat and dairy from them.  I know of two "Mom and Pop" hardware stores where it costs a but more but so what.

Buy American....Buy Local.

Exactly! And the cost of not buying locally will more in the end if we don't pay a little more now. They won't be able to stay in business and we'll all be slave to the corporations in the end.
I really don't look forward to GMO everything...

Why buy for other people? Buy for yourself.

That way, you get exactly what you want. No dumb sweaters (unless you really wanted it).

No. I hate relatives. We have some on the West Coast who are always scheming when they go on a RV trip. They actually plan their trip so they can maximize themselves staying at other people's houses.

They put my grandma in an assisted living home and they were trying to get my parents to move out there to solely take care of her so they wouldn't have to. When she passed, they all rummaged through her stuff (grandfather clocks and the like) and didn't offer anything to us. Nothing.

I talk to my mom daily. I visit my parents regularly. I don't need any others.

Boy did this go off topic quickly...  Toy

I try to buy local as much as possible.  I bought a few things at the farmers market this year for my daughters.  We also try to keep it simple and limit how much is spent.  Books are always a favorite for everyone.

If you want something for the woman (or man) in your life you can try here.  I have received a couple from my daughter and they are really nice.

I absolutely agree that no Chinese crap should EVER be bought. I don't want to reward them for their fantasies about world domination. I also do not want to contribute to those fantasies either. It is bad enough that we have a puppet in the WH who helps China every chance he gets.

Absolutely!
There was a time when we scoffed at Japanese crap, but Indian imports were fine because they didn't compete with American products, most were handcrafted pieces.
Now it's to the point we look at Japanese products far favorably over that of cheap CCP shit.
Just because they locked up a Mkt in a certain area, in no way equates to improved quality, in fact it's generally a degradation in quality.

I have changed from Home Depot or Lowe's to a local Ace Hardware franchiser. I know it is a little more expensive, but the service and ease of shopping makes it worth it.

Same here, though I hit True Value, same thing, but locally owned.

Much of the merch in Ace, True Value, etc. is from China, too.
But at least the store is locally owned.

It's really hard to find merch that's not from China.
The local stores' suppliers buy from China,
because their U.S. suppliers have either moved there or shut down.

The time to fight this battle was 25 years ago,
when Bill Clinton and the RINOs in Congress
granted permanent "most favored nation" status to China.

It's difficult but, not impossible. Things that are made in China are clearly identified as are things made in the U.S.A.

The time to fight is when one realizes that they are being attacked. If someone breaks into my home, I'm not going to worry about what I should have done to prevent it, I am going to use every bit of strength and cunning I have to fight the intruder, including deadly force.

Yes, it would have been great if our politicians hadn't sold the U.S. out 25 years ago but, I for one am not going to purchase foreign made junk now because of it. I'll buy American, do without or whatever I have to do.

Did you really think this was news to anyone here?

You're missing the point entirely! Boycotting the big box stores, IS, boycotting the CCP and our govt.
These stores are supported by the CCP and our own govt. Think back to when all this Flu bull shit started, how all the mom and pop stores were put under restriction, yet not the big box stores, they only needed to make you wear a mask.

Not so for the little stores, they were forced to close their doors, they were deemed nonessential, along with virtually all restaurants.
Walmart, Target, etc, all of them, they were all given nonsensical exemptions by comparison to other businesses, businesses that support the heart of America, the middle class.

This goes way beyond China, this is about our very own govt targeting certain businesses for total annihilation and picking winners and losers.

By the way, China is in virtual meltdown over their failing economy, they are almost irrelevant in the bigger equation now.
The CCP knew long before the release of the so called Covid 19 that their economy was in the tank, that creating fear around the globe would boost sales in many sectors of their economy, buying them time while the world is distracted, obsessed with staying alive.

Taiwan is another point of contention, a distraction from what's really going on, or threatening Australia.
All of these are CCP cards being played on a global map and every move has been carefully plotted for maximum effect.

So worrying about a product only made in China is small fries in the bigger picture, and killing off Target and other sellouts sends a clear message to the rest of, what used to be corporate America, to these commies sellouts, that we are ready to play hard ball.
Now do you get it?

I've heard many claim that "Everything is made in China, so it can't be avoided". I disagree but, the issue is bigger than even that.

Apparently people need to be reminded that China is a Communist Country NOT democratic like the U.S.

I might also remind people that China has aspirations for WORLD domination, and yes, that includes the United States. There is no "Constitutional rights" in a Communist country. There is only what the Communist regime says is allowed. There is no personal property either, EVERYTHING belongs to the government, including your wages.

China leads the world in political deaths, "suicides" and political prisoners.

This is exactly where liberals and Democrats want to take America by ANY means necessary! If you think ballot/voter fraud was outrageous, you ain't seen nothing yet!!

Mrs. Sup shared this with me:

"The whole world is concerned about China-made "black hearted goods".
Can you differentiate which one is made in Taiwan or  China ?

If the first 3 digits of the barcode are 690       691   or 692   ,   the product is MADE IN  CHINA   .
471   is Made in Taiwan.

The bar code can be helpful.

China has transitioned from a Communist economy to a more capitalist one.
China could be described as a fascist state.

But all of that is somewhat beside the point.
Regardless of the type of economy it has,
it still is a HOSTILE REGIME!

Buying from Japan or South Korea or Taiwan
could be seen as supporting opponents of China.

There is also the option of homemade gifts.
Every year, I looked forward to
the fudge my grandma would send through the mail.

And the scarf she crocheted for me 45 years ago
will always be one of my most treasured possessions.

Yeah, well I'll stick with U.S.A. made goods and services as much as possible.
