 There more RINO's in this race then horses in the Kentucky derby.
New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie, who spent three years as president of his high school class, is returning to his alma mater to announce he's running for president of his country.

Christie would definitely be a very dark horse. IMHO he is simply running for the experience of a nationwide election. He knows he is a day late and dollar short. His campaign is lowering expectations already.
He has his real sights set on a future race where he could be more competitive. Right now he has a lot to learn and more weight to lose.....
Don't rule out money laundering as the motive.
He is anther short timer in the campaign. There are now 14 in with Kasich and Walker yet to declare. This number will go down quickly. I even heard Larry Sabato say that this morning and he is usually pretty accurate.

Yeah, you never hear much about Pataki either. He is the darkest of horses!!!

Two words come to mind at the mention of Christie as a candidate, "compromise" and "rino". He may as well save his money and invest in a weight loss program of a lengthy amount of time-whatever time it would take.

Yeah, I was listening to pundits tonight say that the Christie embrace of Obama after tropical storm Sandy doomed him from that day forward. The base will never forget or forgive that gesture. He will never recover. Plus his favorability in his own State has dropped to 30%.
As a Governor he cannot compete with Perry or Kasich. New Jersey's credit rating has dropped under Christie's Governorship.
What possible route does he have to the WH? None!

He could be a janitor relief in the WH.

I'm one who can't forgive
The Hug. -Though I've defended Christie's combative character here. But
that was before Trump entered the race, who's deflated Christie's soapbox-appeal. The Governor should've ran in 2012.
There should've been a
snub rather than a hug... because obama was using the hurricane-hoopla to appear Presidential on the eve of the elections.

Yep, that was one Dog and Pony Show that cost Christie his career aspirations.
Where did he announce? The Cheesecake Factory?

No excuse for it. Hug a volunteer relief-worker, if you're the Governor. Not turn-into a self-ordained
Anne Of The Windy Poplars on behalf of your constituents. Pritt tee bad.
He may overcome it though. We'll see.

The Cheesecake Factory would have probably worked better for him.
He announced at his High School alma mater....... but had to first say that he was not running for Homecoming King or Class President. It must have been terribly confusing.

His old high school where he was class president for three years.
