Reports are that Ben Carson's campaign manager and communications director have resigned.  Could this be the beginning of the end of the Carson bid.  Now that would REALLY shake up the race!!!

Ben is a good man, and this is a good example, but his campaign has been suffering for a third of the race, so what this exposes to me anyway is, someone that can't do what's necessary when the time comes, like firing his staff.

Yeah, I suspect we are watching the beginning of the end for Dr. Carson.

He is a nice man but a presidential campaign challenges the smartest of people.  This illustrates just how critical a campaign's management is to the success of a candidate!  Apparently Carson picked the wrong staff early in his campaign.

Good point Bow. I would think Cruz would acquire most of his support.

Dr. Carson raised more money than Sen. Cruz in the 4th quarter -
$23 million vs. $20 million.
But the voters are shifting over to Cruz.
Maybe Dr. Carson should just go with them.
I suppose he probably will, after Iowa, I would think.
I hope he doesn't blow all the money, first!
Here are the 10 RINOs who voted to impeach Trump on Jan. 13, 2021 - NEVER forget!

Yeah, except we want the unabashed Socialists & RINOs to bow out first.

Well, the problem is not with his staff, its his personality that's doing him in. He doesn't have the personality to be an effective leader. He appears not only meek, but weak. He also, like Trump, isn't a seasoned Conservative. I always said HE won't make it far in the process. It'll be Trump or Cruz.

And the mystery here is that despite so many staffing issues he still evidently raised more this last quarter than did anyone else on the GOP side. It simply doesn't equate.

Because, despite his failure in picking a quality staff, people saw something they liked in the man.
Fortunately for us, the country doesn't elect people based on their ability to fund raise, think Klinton....

I started out supported Dr Carson, really really like the man but as time has went on realized he isn't ready for the job. He would make an awesome SG tho...

Oh my great point.  If you look at the GOP field you can see cabinet post after post.  Carson SG or SecHHS, Christie AG, Trump SecCommerce..it goes on.  However, we have to get Cruz as POTUS!

If you strip everything down, Carson's the only one of the Republican candidates to confront obama and verbally bash one of his policies face-to-face, in front of an audience.

But his campaign hasn't capitalized on it.

Good summary!

Not to imply Carson would become another Obama - we don't need another on-the-job-training-President.
We need a President of Americans, not of just his supporters (and punish his enemies), President.
