This sounds hollow as Hell!!!
He's groveling back after the EU panicked, so will he wear a suit, will he thank as well as apologize?
Will Trump make him beg, publicly chastise his ass?
Yes.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy / Володимир Зеленський
@ZelenskyyUa
I would like to reiterate Ukraine's commitment to peace.
None of us wants an endless war. Ukraine is ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace closer. Nobody wants peace more than Ukrainians. My team and I stand ready to work under President Trump's strong leadership to get a peace that lasts.
We are ready to work fast to end the war, and the first stages could be the release of prisoners and truce in the sky — ban on missiles, long-ranged drones, bombs on energy and other civilian infrastructure — and truce in the sea immediately, if Russia will do the same. Then we want to move very fast through all next stages and to work with the US to agree a strong final deal.
We do really value how much America has done to help Ukraine maintain its sovereignty and independence. And we remember the moment when things changed when President Trump provided Ukraine with Javelins. We are grateful for this.
Our meeting in Washington, at the White House on Friday, did not go the way it was supposed to be. It is regrettable that it happened this way. It is time to make things right. We would like future cooperation and communication to be constructive.
Regarding the agreement on minerals and security, Ukraine is ready to sign it in any time and in any convenient format. We see this agreement as a step toward greater security and solid security guarantees, and I truly hope it will work effectively.

Here's my point. Russia is a far better investment than Ukraine and Trump knows it.
Truth is, the EU started this BS via NATO/Obama/Biden. We have zero interest in what happens in Ukraine.
Trump is trying to help Ukraine via a minerals deal that would assure Russia would not attack.
Ukraine in comparison to Russia is a drop in the bucket where future trade with Russia is an assurance of our mineral needs.
Both our Nations would benefit from trade, peace, and global stability would be ensured worldwide.
We have zero to gain in helping Ukraine.
What Trump is doing is genius yet Europe is too damn stupid to see it.
Look at the chart and explain why we would want Russia as an adversary. This would kill any agreements between Russia and the CCP.

Sen. Murphy Bragged About Overthrowing Ukraine's Government
In 2014, Swamp Senator Chris Murphy bragged about the United States successfully overthrowing Ukraine's government:
"I think it was our role, including sanctions and threats of sanctions, that forced, in part, Yanukovych from office."
"We have not sat on the sidelines. We have been very much involved. Members of the Senate have been there. Members of the State Department have been on the Square."
"The Obama administration passed sanctions. The Senate was prepared to pass its own set of sanctions, and as I've said, I think that the clear position of the United States has, in part, been what has helped lead to this change in regime."
"If, ultimately, this is a peaceful transition to a new government in Ukraine, it will be the U.S. on the streets of Ukraine who will be seen as a great friend in helping make that transition happen."
US interest in other people's resources:
"There is a U.S. interest here. We are in the middle of negotiating a new trade agreement with Europe. To my state, it's enormously important. We do 40% of our trade in Connecticut with Europe."
"If Ukraine is part of the EU and thus is part of this new trade agreement with the United States, that could result in billions of dollars in new economic opportunities for the U.S."
"So, we do have an economic interest in Ukraine being a part of the EU, and we shouldn't be shy about making that interest clear."
Shortly after he said this, Russia invaded Crimea.
Listen for yourself, he admits Obama forced a Regime Change.

Zelensky can't be trusted a bit. Any "deal" should include FULL DISCLOSURE of KICKBACKS to American officials. From Biden on down to the slimeballs in congress.
DOJ should consider seizing his multi million dollar properties in the USA and freezing any bank accounts until a thorough investigation under RICO.
That said, I think Putin is looking for a way out of this mess, he knows TRUMP can hand it to him. Putin lost lots of soldiers and LOTS of Russian armor. He thought it would be a few months and the Ukes would fold. Why else use North Korean troops and cannon, now, Drone fodder?
Putin is gonna need to raise a lot of cash to pay for this war, what better way than a deal with the USA to sell us his minerals. The EU markets are getting stale....and CHINA? Hmmmmm?

I think Putin trusts China far less than the Biden's did. Probably made far less money off of China too. I think you are hitting on a major point that the rest of Europe is slowly realizing, the U.S. and Russia can become business partners where both parties benefit. The U.S. will never have than kind of relationship with Europe.
