He even suggested the mayor of Detroit — the economically depressed Midwestern city where he's giving his first policy address of the 2016 campaign on Wednesday — use immigration to "repopulate" the city.
"It just seems to me that maybe if you open up our doors in a fair way and unleashed the spirit of peoples' hard work, Detroit could become in really short order, one of the great American cities again," Bush said then. "Now it would look different, it wouldn't be Polish...But it would be just as powerful, just as exciting, just as dynamic. And that's what immigration does and to be fearful of this, it just seems bizarre to me."
And he praised the "courage" of Sen. Marco Rubio and Jeff Flake in pursuing the bipartisan Senate immigration reform bill, telling the crowd to encourage the senators to "stay the course."
The illegals would salivate over a Bush/Rubio ticket.
I just did a quick scan of big city newspapers, Democratic newspapers, to see how they were reacting
to Walker's success. They aren't. They must be in a panic. The general idea being reported is that Christie is no match for Bush. The liberal papers are turning up the support for Bush.
I think you will find Fox news in the tank for Bush as well.

Wait a minute. Are you saying Jeb Bush is pro illegal immigration? When did this happen? Has anyone else noticed this? Where was I when this took place? I had no idea

I smell Karl Rove and the Big Tent!
I was sort of surprised yesterday, when I heard Rush Limbaugh praising "his friend" Karl Rove. He said that it's understandable why Rove supports Jeb Bush and he respects him and the reasons why he supports him, but he doesn't agree with his choice. He referred to Karl Rove in very complimentary terms ans at least twice (and possibley three times) stated that Karl Rove is a close friend. Do you think Rush is damning old Karl with feigned praise and giving Rove the kiss of death with his insider friends in the Liberal establishment/media? Rove's been trying to rehabilitate himself with the Media and Washington insiders as being more than merely "The Archetect" and "Bush's Brain" and like John McCain, he thinks becoming more of a RINO is the sure way to win elections.
Rove is in it for the money and the money comes form the liberals.

Bush, Bush who? When I look at the potentials, all I see is Cruz, Walker, Hell, even Palin, and she's not running and even places above Rubio the mini rino.
There is a Jeb, but I think its there as a place holder, just so the others have a measure of where the bottom is.
You know how embarrassed and pissed the Establishment must be to discover TEA never died despite the faux Holy water they attempted to drown us in, all the media exorcisms and wakes of celebration over our presumed demise over the last few years?
Only to discover that we're back with a vengeance and inflicting this much damage on the turds they placed all their hopes and confidence in to win, couldn't attract a crowd even if they set themselves on fire.
Again, Bush who?

Did you ever think that perhaps these people are smarter than we give them credit? I know they have done some real dumb thigns in the past, including cozying up to the media and "moving more to the center" convinced that is where "the undecided voters" are (aka "Independants"). Obama has not only pissed off us, he's pissed off even some of his own people and the RINOs. Imagine if you are a Republican who has been in the minority and figured that the smart move is to play along to get along; Now, things really have CHANGED! Obama's gone full bore balls to the wall Dictator; Congress and SCOTUS be damened! Somes of those RINO's may be switching loyalties (back to the right) seeig that their strategy was quite frankly...stooooopid!
Stalking horse candidates are as old as politics itself. Just as the career criminal ,who "knows" the good cop/bad cop routine, but none the less, succumbs to it. Those who misjudge and underestimate their political opponant(s), do so, as well! Arrogant (cocky) people get overly confident as they begin to overreach and as they see themselves making headway in accomplishing their agenda, they get blind to what is going on around them! This is human nature. When Julius Ceasar victoriously rode in his chariot through the streets of Rome, he had a servant ride in the chariot with him, who whispered in his ear..."Remember Ceasar, Thou art Mortal!" He knew that this shit could go to his head and make him overconfident ("ambitious") and that would lead to his downfall. Noone is telling Obama (well, very few of those he will listen to) that he's Mortal or that he's wrong!
Just like a court procedure, there are many roles to be played to test the case, either in front of the jury or behind the scenes. History may be the judge of whether some played "RINO" to get 'them' off guard, so our true Leader(s) will emerge victorious!
Just a point to ponder! The best way for an enemy to win is to divide and conquer, The best way to defeat that same enemy is to make him think you're weak, until you thrust the dagger into his stinkin heart! " Et tu Brute! " Yes, even those he consiered friends may decide to help save (Rome) our country, when the day of reconing comes....
Obama's "Ides of March" may be a litte later. I'm thinking this summer, after the SCOTUS begins to pull the foundation out of his house of cards and he doubles down attacking both the other branches of goverment (Like Hugo Chavez did!)

No. What I see are two party's sharing one ideal. Obverse of a coin, but still the same coin. They do not play to an imaginary middle, they created one, there is no middle anymore.
This nation is still majority Conservative, to believe otherwise, is to buy the media lie, as evidenced by the impact of TEA on both party's, and the self inflicted damage by the establishment that feeds both party's.
In this case, the enemy is weak and their only chance of winning is to cheat, but cheating is always factored into every election.
No Wally, I believe you give them far more credit than they deserve, they do not have the influence they once wielded, where they decided our voting options.
In addendum. To believe the establishment has the power you claim they do, gives them the very influence you arrogate to them.
In other words, quit empowering them, they are powerless without us, seriously, ignore them and they'll cease to exist.
Like all things, agreed social contracts is what empowers society, take that away, and society changes.
The Establishment is no different.

Even Old Joe (who signed a "non-aggression pact" with Hitler, making himself an enabler, if not an outright supporter of the NAZI third reich) finally "declared war on Hitler (after the 'true' ALLIES had Hitler beaten)
No, I'm not giving the RINO's credit as being "with us" any more than Joe Stalin and the Commies were "with us". The enemy of my enemy is my....er, friend! (Keep your friends close and your enemies even closer)
The "professional politicians" don't have to really be with us, to be useful idiots for our cause. If they sense the
win(d) is coming from the far right, they will trim their sails to go the way the wind blows!

I think you misunderstood my point. The Establishment that plays both party's, cares nothing about ideology, in and by itself is leftist in nature and shares the ideal of one world govt goal.
My point is, by cowering at a perceived power, enables said power, like giving into ones fear, only strengthens that fear and empowers it's grip over you, when in fact, it's the fear, that is the power.
We hold the power, not the establishment.

Interesting thread. I think power is something that resides with whomever wields it most effectively!. Whomever has the most power is the one who generally will prevail. Raw power is neither right or wrong or belong to any ideology. Power is the sum total of all partsthat are brought to bear to achieve a desired end. Theleft have been much better as bringing their collective power to bear, than we have. All factions "hold power". It's up to us to prevail against our adversaries, who also "hold" a considerable amount of power.
The question that begs answering is: Do we need anyone (with the power they can use for or against us) other than ourselves (including the uninformed voters, the RINO's and even what were once called "Reagan Democrats) to achieve our ends!
An interesting truth about power is that a house divided against itself, can not stand!

Which is the very reason TEA has commanded the numbers it has. People want a smaller, less intrusive govt, it really is that simple, and it's translating into numbers. It is us, the electorate, that wields the power, not an unseen entity using money to sway an election, rather a shared ideology within TEA.
This is marvelous, two Catholics, one a shirt tail Cosa Nostra, the other a chameleon. Does any one really know what the the Bush dynasty is all about? We have been watching them for over 60 years, and the only thing that is conclusive is that they smile and wave the red white and blue, all the while fleecing the treasury with grander and grander schemes, each more creatively executed than the last. Best I can do is that Bushes are probably fronting for Rothschilds or Kennedys.
The press. You know, if a guy can't score a federal job, you know, twenty and out, working for the press has to be the next best thing. Every man a King, every woman a Queen. That's what they call Oprah, isn't it? The Queen of daytime television. Now, really, Walker out polls Bush and Christie basically three to one combined, meaning Bush 4% Christie 3% Walker 42% Pick up any paper and read about how the front runners, Christie and Bush, are doing in Iowa and New Hampshire.
So, Bush has a plan for the illegals. He's going to move them into Detroit, revitalize the city. Does he have any idea what he is saying? You know, he would be better off leaving the exploitation of immigrants to the city Democrats. They have been doing it since the Civil War and no one has complained yet, save for the occasional State's Attorney who gets a bug up over graft and corruption. The immigrants don't complain. Those Democrats have gotten so good at working the immigrant psychology, they have the immigrants eating out of their hands. Look at Obama. How many people think of Obama as the helping hand of big government? See what I mean, millions.
Muslims and Hispanics don't need the Great Lakes ghettos. They've got the Southwest, the farm belt and Los Angeles. How do you do better than that? Truth is, I think the Moslems will screw up, eventually, and all wind up back in the Middle East, where they never should have left, but, what do I know?
Coming this way to revitalize Detroit, Michigan:
