Yeah no one here cares but it has been mentioned here recently so bear with me. We won! Even my county, Gwent went Brexit. Screw the EU! Oh and screw Barry who threatened us and that poodle Cameron.

There's been a thread and interest light, 'tis true, but any chink in the EU is always good news against George Soros, and for that we can share your delight.
I posted Billy Bragg singing "This Land Was Made for You and Me." I thought it appropriate.
Fuck, sanity?
Now if we can get Texas to cede from the US and merge with Wales no one would ever understand anything they said ever again.

Think of the possibilities. We could call it Twexis or Twales. Maybe Texshire. Anything else would be more unpronounceable than Yorkshire.
Barbecue steak and kidney pie
Welsh people will learn how to properly barbecue.
Texins will learn how to do proper chips.
The Texins would reinforce the idea that is it is indeed okay to eat with your hands.
And the Welsh could finally get a tan. Not a fake one from a salon in Cardiff but a proper one.

Congratulations. Many here cared.
Some of us have been talking about the "silent majority" for several months. I think what happened in the UK yesterday is confirmation that there is a silent majority out there in the US as well. Hillary, Obama and democrats are probably panicked by what happened. There are many, many folks in the US that are sick and tired of what is going on here and it will be reflected in November.
All I want to know, was this a historical event, a certain billionaire from Hungry lost 90% of his wealth...
It has been interesting, and enjoyable, watching all the leftists lamenting this event. I am sure many are in pure denial that their gig is up. People are waking up.
Now the Euro which was meant to undermine both the US dollar and the British pound will tank.....

A lot of conservatives care. Glad to hear there are still common sense people left in the UK. They want their identity and sovereignty back. Lets hope they have the leadership they'll need to get there. Liberal heads must be exploding all over.

Populist movements like this one supposedly cross over partisan political boundaries. If true, THAT would scare the true hard-core loyalists on either side --- in the GOP's case, the ones pretending all is fine until 2024 and maybe (oh maybe!) by then (
just maybe, mind you!) they'll scrape their bench for anyone who's not in the Tea Party.
So I got to wondering. Are populists the brakes on globalism, or engines of self-interest on nitro-methane, going 700 kph down the track?

QuoteIn the immediate wake of the UK referendum calling for Great Britain to leave the European Union, other nationalist leaders have jumped on board, calling for their respective countries to follow Britain's lead and exit the EU.
The passionate reactions to the UK vote showcase a worldwide political phenomenon uniting unlikely bedfellows in a common populist, anti-global movement that eschews traditional categories of left and right.
As a Forbes article pointed out Wednesday, the new movement brings together "Virginia Raggi and Chiara Appendino of Italy, Marine Le Pen of France, Viktor Orban of Hungary, Nigel Farage of Britain, Pablo Iglesias of Spain, Beata Szydlo of Poland, Norbert Hofer of Austria, Justin Trudeau of Canada, Donald Trump of the United States and Brexit."
Marine Le Pen (pictured), for instance, chief of France's Front National (FN) cheered the Brexit results, telling RTL radio: "Like a lot of French people, I'm very happy that the British people held on and made the right choice. What we thought was impossible yesterday has now become possible."

What's also become possible is that Scotland (which voted to remain in the EU) now has more cause for separation from the UK, primarily on economic grounds from what I'm seeing. The dust won't settle for several; years on this aspect as the UK now begins figuring out trade agreements and other return-to-normal kind of business.

They've known for a while their gig was up; why do you think they're letting in all those "migrants"? They don't like the current electorate, so they're imposting a new one.
