Title: Bottom line. No wave tonight.
Post by: dashvinny on November 04, 2014, 05:28:09 PM
No positive message. Reps might take the senate 51-49 but this was nothing like it  should  have been. In a wave you get unexpected upsets. No surpises tonight and in fact its a  bad sign for  2016.

Good grief Vinny; last time I checked some of the polls are just now closing and so far we don't even know if we took the Senate so how in the hell is that a bad sign already for 2016???  Hold on to your knickers for crying out loud!

The message has nothing to do with whether or not it's a wave.

In the senate the GOP picked up 7 seats and held onto 3 others with 1 runoff the GOP is favored to win. WV is too close to call and Alaska isn't reporting yet

In the House the GOP picked up 8 seats and held onto 5

The GOP picked up 3 governorships and held onto 17

What more do you want?

Dash, the message of the CPF has always been a "positive" one and you haven't been a willing participant.

The rest of the trouncing that the dems got tonight will have to wait until 2016, but I'm already going to make the positive prediction that it will happen and happen BIG.

Somebody needs to review Virginia's in-State polling...  Warner was behind at several points, yet was supposedly a 20-point fave.  He 'won' by less than a point.  Hopefully there's a recall.

They've got to lecture us first...  how to behave like winners, how to govern, how to compromise, how to unite, how to overcome overconfidence, how to use social-networking, why using the 'nuclear option' is bad, etc.

Yep, and not only should we gloat, but force it in their face everyday, especially the RINO, they need to know it was TEA that won, not the GOP.

Absolutely!!!  This is only the beginning and we need to keep in mind we do not know how McConnell is going to handle things nor do we have any way of knowing what Obama has up his sleeves.  McConnell certainly isn't our friend and perhaps we should call him to congratulate him, BUT let him know that TEA is watching him very closely.

We need to hold our elected officials accountable and responsible to ensure a 2016 victory!!!
