"The bill would also allow the Democrats to shift the increasingly painful blame for the arrival of 100,000-plus Central American migrants, away from the president and toward an obscure paragraph in a minor 2008 law about trafficking of prostitutes, say conservatives."
The leaders' bill is unpopular among conservative activists because it would increase and accelerate low-skill migration from Latin American, create a new opportunity for Democrats and business lobbyists to revive the Senate's 2013 immigration rewrite, and do nothing to deter President Barack Obama from carrying out his plan to distribute millions of work permits to illegal immigrants

Only by living in a Leftard echo chamber, could you possibly be bought to believe ANY immigration bill at this point isn't seppuku. Will you people please stop paying freaking attention to network news. THE MEDIA IS YOUR ENEMY!!!!!!After the GOP goes the way of the Whigs, I hope you don't believe the rat bastard leftist Dems are going to take you. Nope, as we type Boehner and McCarthy are buying votes.
Betting here is that whatever emerges will be all
enforcement and little, bucks for the chillun!
Uh, hasn't the Senate already closed the session and left?
What is this besides an empty gesture?
"In the absence of legislation, Republicans urged President Obama to act on his own to secure the borders and safely deport illegal immigrant children."
This man does not need to be encouraged to bypass congress and act on his own. Especially the same week Boner votes to sue him for bypassing congress. Talk about mixed signals from the RINO party.

Doesn't matter either way. Reid said (basically) any bill that doesn't give the Democrats everything they want would be dead on arrival in the Senate.
That's the Democrat's
spirit of bipartisanship, don't ya know!

Nothing. It gives everybody a chance to say what they did for us folks. Obama took this opportunity to say he would veto anything the House passed. Pitiful. I can't wait until November. However, that lame duck period could be dangerous if what we think will happen actually happens.
I still think Obama just doesn't have the stones to go all in with martial law or something else to stop elections / stay in office.
But he and his little gaggle have really been froggy lately. Especially with the "haha, double dare you to impeach".
That's so bizarre and outlandish that I am starting to wonder if they've decided to just go for it, and it's a steady ramp-up for the next year or so.

I agree, I think he wants out of office and can't wait till 2016, which would explain the sudden surge in attempting to destroy the country.
Besides, what could he do with both Houses under GOP control?
Nah, he wants out yesterday.
One of the compulsive refrains of Latin politicos is that
enforcement legislation rather than handouts, will
damage the GOP w/Latin voters. Home truth is real simple.
Latin voters are about as relevant here as they are in
the country of their birth where the oligarchs who rule
then alternate between ignoring them and urinating on them.
The sole purpose of this legislation is to lay down a marker
for the rank and file middle class, on the issue of the day.
Why are we worrying about what the GOP passes when the President already said it won't pass the senate ans he would never sign it?
A winning issue botched by the GOP and they get nothing for it, and piss off the base in the process. What a bunch of ignorant fools.

Did you hear Rush today? He was in rare form! He KNOWS the Republican leadership is more concerned about the DONORS (who all want amnesty). VOTERS take a back seat to the donors. Their goal is to get amnesty while making the voters think they're fighting harder than ever to resist Obama. They're happy to let Obama lead on this.

Obama and the Democrats don't want the border secured and they control the Senate and the White House. The GOP has no power to do anything. Even if every Republican supported a bill that you thought of as perfect it wouldn't make a difference.

I WAS RIGHT!!
What kind of bill do you think Republicans could come up with that Bozo and crew would go for? Anything, and I do mean anything, that republicans could come up with short of a rubber stamp on what Bozo has asked for would be thrown out in the senate. If by some slim chance, and after Bozo stomped Reid's azz for letting it go thru the senate, it passed the senate-Bozo would veto it if it did not match what he asked for. This was one of the things he stated in his first speeches to American citizens. He arrogantly promised that he would veto anything that went contrary to what he proposed. Did you miss any of that after he became president? In other words, he means to destroy this country because he does not like any part of it, including his own party affiliation. He absolutely owns the mess we are in because he demands his own way in matters that concern all of us. He hasn't finished yet and I do expect he will get even more dissent until drastic measures are taken that might cause alot of damage to us all but until some of these steps are taken, we are all hostages to the lawlessness we have come to know as Washington. And to think, taxpayers are funding this lawlessness!
THIS is why I told you guys, especially in Ohio & Kentucky, WHY is was so vital that we target Boner and McConnell. In this RARE instance, we should have gotten these two Republican leaders out even if it meant a Democrat in their place. It would have sent shockwaves throughout the Establishment GOP.
Because you let them survive, they listen to their donors and not you. Because they survive, the money is a higher priority than you. YOU can't change them. They've already chosen sides, and YOU are the enemy. All because you let them survive and didn't back the Tea Party candidates.

To be fair, some of us have been conservative/TEA all the way, just not enough of us.
I know. I'm just frustrated that these guys will never hear us. They only hear the Chamber of Commerce, Mark Zuckerberg (Facebook), Bill Gates, and all the other BILLIONAIRES. They don't look to you or me, because they know we won't donate to them, so they do the bidding of the billionaires who support them and amnesty. They are our enemy every bit as much as Pelosi and Reid. BOTH Houses will push amnesty until they get it -- or until we finally put the fear of God in them.

Vinny you need to do research before you post this garbage. They didn't buy votes to pass the bill. The bill gutted and completely rewritten.
In spite of itself, the R House hit a HR w/200 on base last nite!!!!
It matters little what is or isn't signed. What matters is this.
THEY TOOK A STAND AND VOTED FOR RAPID DEPORTATION OF ILLEGALS!!!!
When crap like this is going on, whats it matter anyhow?

This is tantamount to amnesty anyhow, because with that DL they can now immigrate to another state and be LEGAL doing so too.

No they didnt. Why do you think they took 2 separate votes and voted on repealing Daca alone? The first bill can now be used to go to conference with the senate to get amnesty through the back door. Dont believe for a second Reid and Obama saying they wont consider the house bill. The senate will pass its own bill, head to conference and amnesty is here.
