ZUCKERBERG

Does anyone else have the feeling that nothing will come of the Durham report.  I believe everyone is playing on the same team.  This is like when your team scrimmages the Offense vs the Defense - nobody goes at full speed so as not to hurt a teammate.  The Swamp is much larger than just the Democrats.  The entire House and Senate needs to be removed, and never allow any of them to run for any office again.  Install term limits immediately.  I would also move the capital to Kansas, ban all personal and corporate campaign donations - fund campaigns from the IRS, and limit campaign spending to the amount received from the IRS.  All lobbying must be banned even if that means establishing a No Mans Land in a 20 mile radius of the new capital.  Provide barracks style housing for representatives  - the price you pay if you choose to represent the people.  My views are radical, but what we are doing does not work, and it hasn't for a long time.

There are 121 days to election day. If you want to ensure the result you desire, you need to be out campaigning now.

Sorry Tory. This is none of your concern. We don't need advice from a foreigner.

Like you and everyone else on earth, i was wrong? In this case i think they are very very unlikely. They SHOULD happen.

So now the excuses begin? I'll hold you to your original claim, that nothing will happen, or would you like to revise that for the record?
Now is your chance.

No.  And it won't be a "report"... it's indictments.

You have no reason to believe that.

Of course it's beyond Democrats.  People who seem to want to complain about this 99.999999999999999% of the time have no idea where their local Republican precinct is.

The House is elected every two years.  The Senate (and House) could use term limits.  Regardless, since you (and complainers like yourself) will never get involved locally (from where GOP candidates sprout) term limits or not, or complete removal or not, the same candidates will pop up.

  Install term limits immediately.
That will help, but you'll keep allowing the same Marxists to infiltrate.

I would also move the capital to Kansas,
No.  Don't turn the middle of the country into a shithole.

Your views aren't radical.  I like the barracks idea.  Also strip pensions, benefits, etc.  I like your direction, but recruiting candidates who would go along with such changes can only happen if they're recruited locally.  About half of precinct committeemen seats are vacant.

Suit yourself, but remember, if you don't campaign, you can't complain. Good luck.

Sure I can because I have the right to do so. A foreigners opinion on american politics is inconsequential. When you don't have a dog in the fight you have no say.

Just a couple of questions. If American businesses helped to build this great nation and employ thousands of citizens, and I can give list after list where corporations stepped in to help out in times of disaster, why do you want to take away their right to help elect their candidate by not allowing them to donate their money?
Since congress passes laws that affect everyone it is easy to assume they are experts on everything, they are not. Businesses rely on lobbyist to help set the truth to many of these congressmen to tell them what the actual affects would be. I admit there are crooked lobbyist, but they would not exist without crooked congressmen. But if they are banned, how are businesses going to get their message across?

Possum, you concentrate on only the corporate donations, but I also said personal donations.  Both are used to buy legislation.  You cannot expect ethical legislators when their every thought after an election is fund raising for the next election.  Fund all elections from the treasury with each candidate getting the same amount, and they are forbidden from spending any more.  Force them to work for the people who voted for them.

You know, that ain't a bad idea at all. I might, just maybe, go for they can not use their personal money too, so they could not buy the seat. Don't know on that one. I will say one thing, It would completely change how we elect our crooks uh congressmen.
