Published by William Morrow and Company and penned by far-left journalists Jonathan Allen of NBC News and Amie Parnes of The Hill, the book paints Obama not as a unifier or party builder but as an egotistical leftist who siphoned off money, influence, and grassroots energy to feed his own personal brand — only to abandon it when the checks stopped rolling in. According to the New York Post, Obama didn't build up the party that handed him the presidency.
