Title: Are all faith-based colleges/universities safe to attend?
Post by: Sick Of Silence on July 11, 2022, 01:22:24 AM
I have a relative who is going to attend one. Given I know how left-wing colleges and universities can be (as well as religion), I am concerned.

It would not be difficult to do just a little background checking on the school. The true faith based schools should be easily differentiated from the shams.

I feel at ease when I see Turning Point USA is associated with them, but that's about it. I also see them talk about Republicans. We don't need Republicans; we need Conservatism. RINO's is why we are in the mess we are in now.

I see little things that make me wonder. Like, a fraternity is a fraternity, not a "social club". Sounds like Liberal word play. If we really supported the First Amendment, we would support fraternities (obviously, we don't haze but we should be able to separate the men from the boys on those being invited to a lifetime fraternal brotherhood).

I see a list of race-based/color-based/ethnic groups. Stop treating everybody separate. Don't force me to learn Spanish. And, just because someone is Asian it doesn't mean that everyone of them eats noodles with sticks nor does the average person make fun of them for doing so. Did I mention they used the word "diverse".

Looking at the dining plans, I don't like the wording of their food plans. What counts as a meal? Are you forcing people to eat certain things or a certain way? What if you only want a sandwich/burger for lunch but will throw down with pork chops, multiple sides, and dessert for dinner? Can you just pay cash/credit? It appears like they are controlling what or how you eat.

And, when I see one of the website pictures has a dude with a man-bun, I lost all faith in this school.
