As the onset of Covid became evident and its effects began to take its toll in the U.S., what would our relationship with China have become if Ronald Reagan would have been POTUS at the time?
As a leader, Reagan had his bouts of becoming somewhat pragmatic on certain issues. But when it came to foreign policy and communist regimes? He stood as a mensch.
For a start, I thinking Reagan would promptly and aggressively procured intel on the situation, pressuring the WHO in the process. If evidence proved damning, POTUS would then head a coalition of nations to hold China and all who were complicit accountable for the damages they caused world wide.
And knowing Reagan, I cannot limit my thinking to not consider him calling this event an act of war -bio-weapons attack.
Contrast that with what Trump did.
