I was loud about it when it was passed. As bad as 9-11 was, through the passing of the patriot act and the formation of the DHS, we allowed 19 punk terrorists do to far more damage to our country than dropping the trade center.

We handed power over to the government to usurp our constitutional rights and encroach on our feedom. We'll never get back to where we were.

It's our fault that the Dims are going to pass a law that they can look into our personal messaging without a warrant here on US soil, because Bush did it to illegals outside of the country?

I bet he even thinks they'll stop at personal messages and leave phones alone....

Wasn't a thread posted about a month ago that said the government was using pictures from your phone to compile a rough blueprint of your (we the people's) homes?

Yep, and there is nothing stopping them from using these same excuses to tap your phone without a warrant.
They will use all that they've gleaned from personal messaging and the layout of your home as evidence you are planning a crime to send you to reeducation camps.
