Dr. Ben Carson has said he will cut every department's funding by 10% no exceptions. Ted Cruz has said he will repeal ObamaCare and cut federal spending with a balanced budget amendment, and he will abolish the IRS after a necessary tax reform. Really though, which candidate will actually cut taxes while reducing federal spending enough to create revenue and get this evil debt out of here. Which do you think can lower unemployment, cut taxes, allow people to have better incomes, and cut spending to create revenue and get our country out of debt?

Cruz has a track record of following through on his word.
Carson on the other hand, has absollutely no record, period.

It is utterly astounding the number of literate and intelligent people who take seriously claims/promises made by political types of either party. Doesn't their record bark loudly and plainly for itself???
Many assert that the GOP has always been a bastion of principled conservatism. Really??? Home truth is that the R party, from day one, has never had anything to do w/conservatism. Not ever! From Fremont in 1856, it was a secular progressive soft left party carrying water for northern mercantile interests. Then as the Industrial Revolution accelerated post-Civil War, the party became the errand boy for corporate interests where it remains embedded today.
The Tea Party rightly rails against the concentration of power in DC which emasculated States Rights. They correctly assert that the remedy is the repeal/evisceration of the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th Amendments.
So consider this. The GOP was ascendant politically from Andrew Johnson till Herbert Hoover, a span of three generations; during which time the GOP used their political muscle to pass these Amendments!!!.
Please tell me again what the GOP and Ben Carson are promising?????

I believe your saying that I'm referring to promises of the Republican Party. I'm actually asking about the records of each candidate, but they ought to be republicans because I mean do you think Bernie Sander's $1 trillion dollar spending plan is a good example of how to cut federal spending?

Not even the GOP is stupid enough to make such a lying statement, in fact, I don't think I've ever heard those word in that combination in my entire life.
But I agree with your assertion that Carson will simply carry the Establishment torch, lighting the way to our demise.

Who's going to do the most to free-up capital?

Cruz.

Trump might have an edge on everyone else for the second spot if he arrives at the realization of what 'freeing-up' capital means.  It doesn't mean moving it around.  It means getting rid of regulations and redundant Government Departments.

It's not going to be easy.  The Republican Party has got to be the Party to do it.

Start by doing the unthinkable in DC... start closing departments.

Christie,
What I'm saying is that campaign promises from candidates are worthless and that the history of a political party is a sound barometer of what it will do in the future.

I respectfully disagree with that statement!

Senator Ted Cruz has kept EVERY campaign promise he made to Texans when running for the Senate.  He did so at great expense to his political camaraderie with GOP leadership and fellow Senators.  He was willing to stand up against the status quo and fulfill his promise to his constituents.  At times he stood totally alone against his own Party leadership.  He is fearlessly principled.

You can be sure that he will do the same if elected to the WH.  He will not disappoint.

Kroz,
Fair enough as to Cruz,  but he is a rare exception.

That is exactly why Cruz is the only logical choice for our nominee!

It's not just politics that "hardly ever, attracts individuals of principle".

...and that too is why we are" in the condition we are in".
