Scott Adams had become a nationwide trending topic after he said that videos of black people beating white people had convinced him that whites should not help black people or live in communities with a large percentage of black people.

"That's a hate group and I don't want to have anything to do with them," said Adams while citing a poll that said many blacks disagreed with the statement that "It's OK to be white."
