Two muzscum win lawsuit against trucking company

The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission won $240,000 in damages for two Muslim truck drivers after it sued their former employer for religious discrimination for firing the drivers for refusing to make beer deliveries.

I don't know anyway around it, but any company that hires muzscum is just asking for trouble, imo.

This is not something new, you would think the company(s) would wise up. 

Maybe they can't wise up because they're Liberals? Wouldn't that be nice,....Liberals, in their belief of being  'all inclusive',.....would wind up having their pocketbook raped.

Imagine a Christian refusing to issue a marriage licence so a couple of homos to get married. Oh wait that happened and she ended up in jail. Or imaging a company refusing to make a cake for a homo marriage. Oh wait they were fined. Do we have religious bigotry in this country? Damn right we do, and it favors Islam.

Since when does a private entity have to justify firing anyone?
As a business owner, I hired and fired when necessary, if I didn't have that freedom, I'd have folded within my first year.
I smell an appeal.
Yep, hire Muscum at your own peril, and if you're stupid enough to do so, you deserve the consequences.

The best way I can figure out how to get around this lawfare is
for a small company to never advertise for employees.

Today, unfortunately.  The sad part about this is it's probably illegal to ask an employee what their religion is before you hire them.

I don't care what the ruling was, it was illegal and the judge was wrong. It will be overturned.

Yeah thing is, the companies aren't paying for that. You and I and anyone else who shops at a store is. Because the Trucking Company's will raise their rates on stores/outlets/ manufacturers etc...to ship their goods, who in turn will pass that increase to us, in the form of higher prices.

That said, this particular case should never have happened. Yes we shouldn't discriminate against someone because of their religion.

However, it's not discrimination if you take it upon yourself to apply for and accept a job. Knowing full well that the job require's the delivery of beer. And get fired for refusing to do so. Regardless of the reason you refused to do your job. If your religious conviction's are such that they would preclude you from being involved in the delivery of beer. Then you shouldn't have applied for, and accepted the job in the first place.

Freedom of religion, non discrimination based on religion, does not equate dictating to an employer what you will or will not do as part of the job they are employing you to do.
