Get enough co-signers, this thing could get some real legs.

It's not a bad deflection-idea, actually.

He'll be asked (in gotcha-style by a lot of the media) about the SCOTUS-ruling, on the trail.  He already attended a gay-wedding, which the media couldn't enflame into a bigger story.  And he's already using the ISIS-example of gays being thrown off buildings' rooftops.  He can filibuster the gay divorce-rate in Europe, which is a few ticks higher than the normal divorce-rate.

I think the lesbian divorce-rate in Europe is astonishingly double-digits higher, but I can't find a link that isn't second-hand hearsay.

Cruz can also go the pit bull route, pointing-out that same-sex marriage is primarily driven by the Trial Lawyers Lobby and their Dem divorce-attorney stooges.

He can also deflate the entire rainbow-thing by illustrating that generally, gays/lesbians/trannies don't really tolerate each-other in real life.

But back to the topic, hopefully Cruz will consider an anti judicial-activist piece of legislation first.  Fix the major problem, then the others.
