Title: RINO Pataki first to break RNC pledge!
Post by: redbeard on September 13, 2015, 02:50:06 PM
QuotePataki, Trump Trade Jabs on Twitter

Former New York Gov. George Pataki started a Twitter battle with fellow GOP presidential candidate Donald Trump on Sunday just days before they will square off in the party's second presidential debate on Wednesday.

Pataki, who is in ninth place in the 16-candidate field, according to the Real Clear Politics average of polls, said he wouldn't vote for Trump, the current front-runner, if he gets the nomination. He urged other candidates to join him in a sort of reverse-loyalty pledge.

Pataki on Friday told Newsmax TV that even though he had signed the loyalty pledge to support the party's nominee, he will not vote for the nominee if it is Trump.

Admitted liar! I guess the pledge meant nothing to him!

Wasn't he critical of Trump for refusing to sign it? Two faced A-Hole!
Pataki, is no threat at this point but this should be held onto and remembered in case he is later! If he didn't agree with this form he should not have signed it! The ink hasn't even dried yet and he is breaking his word!!

Here's a good point! Now that he is in violation of the agreement will he be kicked off the republican ballot and excluded from debates as they threatened to do to Trump? Do we have a RINO double standard here?

Pataki isn't going anywhere anyway.  He needs to drop out.

He doesn't even register on the averaged RCP poll through 9/8

If anyone breaks the pact, Trump would have grounds to also break the pact if the GOP does not hold to their threat.  If Pataki is allowed on another debate stage, the pact is null and void.

If Trump does not get the nomination, he could attempt a write-in campaign.

He could have anyway. There was nothing legally binding about that stupid little pledge.

I think he would do something like that.  His ego is too big not be center stage.

You are so correct. However, Trump would be best served to just not pay any attention to Pataki. The guy has no chance and no following so Trump should not give him any free attention.

Bingo! Pataki was trying to challenge the top dog, like the young gun going after the seasoned gun slinger.
He merely need make a challenge to become relevant, even if he failed in the fight, he got the attention he sought after.
Good or bad, we're talking about Pataki, though most are asking Patki who?

I just want to see the rinos give it up. For the good of the country they need to start dropping. They're not n it for themselves and they need to think of the country.
