Sometimes the real news is harder to believe than fake news.
For example:

The video game, Pokémon Go,
was developed with funding from the CIA.
Buried in the "Terms and Conditions" that nobody reads,
but on which everyone just mindlessly clicks "I Accept"
when they download the game,
is consent to let the game send to the game's home computer
ALL information you might have stored on your device,
including your contact list, your messaging history,
your GPS data (your location),
and every other kind of personal data.
They can also turn on your microphone and camera,
and listen and watch everything through your phone,
even when you're not playing the game!

The game has participants walk around in the real world
capturing Pokémons ("pocket monsters")
that the game source has placed in the real world,
but are visible only to people playing Pokémon Go.

So, if the CIA wants frequent surveillance
of anyone they deem to be a threat,
all they have to do is place Pokémons around their target's
residence, workplace, and other locations frequently visited.
Then, people playing Pokémon Go are attracted to those locations,
and take pictures (which is how one catches a Pokémon)
which are automatically forwarded to the CIA!

All these Millenials think they're just out having fun, playing a game,
when really they're doing the CIA's surveillance for them!  For free!

A lot of apps do that.  That's why when you install an app, you have to OK the access to your stuff it wants.
