Donald Trump used the March 10 GOP debate to make a dramatic call for a pause in legal immigration after 50 years of continuously rising legal immigration.

The call may shift the nation's immigration debate away the emotional — but subsidiary — issue of illegal immigration.

"I'd say a minimum of one year, maybe two years," Trump said during the debate in Miami, Fla.

I understand. The best way would be to write a short opinion piece on your own, then resurrect the thread and make it new again.
You can either make it a new thread or use an old article where Trump promised certain things and you want to hold him at his word.
But just bumping old threads tends to just clutter the board with topics already addressed and quickly get pushed aside.

No doubt there is an endless stream of Trump promises in question, but wait till the topic is addressed by Trump, Senate, Congress to expose the hypocrisy if he breaks his word.
