I thought FUX were their own entity, obviously they bought into the lie machine.
No TV since 1988, I hear enough of it on the Radio & at work.
Might be decades behind on the latest trends, but "we" live a better life without "Television PROGRAMMING"... of more accurately, "TV re-Programming your mind".
One of the untold secrets to entrepreneurial success, don't own a TV - unless you're gonna advertise on it, selling kitchen appliance & hand towels.

The last time I watched TV was back when local TV was running the last Star Trek series with Picard.
After that I no longer actually got a signal here in the Sierra because stations were cutting back their power. I don't miss it one bit, I did miss local weather, but I get that online anyway.
Now we have satellite so all I watch are anime and old westerns and that suits me just fine.

Can't say I watch cartoons but I do like a good war movie. I have lots of em stashed on the digital video drive and have most of the good ones commited to memory. A good movie is always worth the entertainment value but it's gotta be good and there aren't many of those made anymore.

For the same reason I watch anime. The Japanese still believe in honor and battling evil, so their message isn't much different from our 50 years ago.
Humility, self sacrifice in fighting the bad guys, standing up for the little guy, preserving culture. These things no longer exist in our media. I'd feel safe letting kids watch most of them.
