And... promises to "redefine" conservatism.
Well, scratch another off and wonder why a guy like Trump is beating Republicans!
QuoteRepublican presidential candidate John Kasich defended millions of immigrants in the U.S. illegally as "people who are contributing significantly" to the nation, taking on a divisive issue Wednesday as he promised to redefine conservatism during his latest New Hampshire appearance

That loudmouthed nut just can't help himself. I'm assuming that 'significantly' means 'in a good way', in his mind. Milking the system and sending dollars back-home to Mexico, or Central America, is not good.

"redefine conservatism"?
WTF? Is this anything like "Fundamentally Change America"?
You're right, he's toast.
I knew the guy was a Lib.....
What a moron!
Quite frankly, there are not that many middle of the road voters remaining for this type of campaign.
We are totally polarized as a Nation and Kasich might as well fold up his big tent and go home!

Actually, America IS middle of the road. Why they can't figure out where that is, eludes me. They can't seem to grasp ILLEGAL. They don't understand we watch jobs being taken from Americans and given to foreigners.
Trump may be a loud mouthed blowhard, but at least he's tuned into America's MIDDLE OF THE ROAD values.

We will have to respectfully disagree on that one, carib!
I stand by my statement that Americans are polarized.

We're talking about ILLEGAL immigration. America overwhelmingly opposes that. THAT is a middle of the road position. You said America is extreme on this. It is not extreme to oppose ILLEGAL immigration.

It is not extreme in our corner, but much of the nation at large is embracing these illegals and their "rights".
There are those who embrace amnesty and those who reject amnesty. That is the real issue.
You can sugar coat it with all kinds of pre-requisites for their amnesty, but amnesty is amnesty. You are either for it or against it.
And those who are for it, have no real interest in sealing the border in a meaningful way. It is all symbolic!
Kasich says illegal aliens "contribute significantly" to our nation. Here are a few of their contributions:
- High unemployment
- Low wages
- Higher welfare costs
- Higher school costs
- Higher prison costs
If you include the increased social costs imposed by illegal immigration,
those "cheap tomatoes" picked by migrant farm workers
end up costing about twenty dollars a pound!

You can add. Higher insurance premiums, both medical and car.

Illegals cost the taxpayers period. No matter what the "issue" may be, whether insurance premiums, or prison costs, to job loss, those in this nation illegally are detrimental to our nation's security and prosperity.

Yes, Kasich's a liberal who, like Boehner neither represents Ohio Conservatism, nor the RNC's traditional values.

Moderate republicans will begin to drop like flies when the actual voting begins in red states.

We hope and pray that happens. But given this nation has twice now elected Obama, with the RNC tools nominating MITT I wouldn't hold my breath or count on that happening.

Yay! More illegals! Thanks Kasich! I hope you at least had a book to plug...
