Of course it's wrong to just stand by and let such a crime happen.
How many onlookers watched one (?) guy commit this crime?
Two should have been enough to physically put a stop to it.
Maybe they were all part of the same gang?
Maybe they were all more than just "innocent bystanders"
and were maybe "fans" of this "sport"?
If they were just bystanders, I would hope at least that
they would share their videos with police,
which they could use to identify and convict the criminal.
