I was oh so glad, to see Senator Coats (R) Indiana, ask this man, why it is. That there is zero an American Citizen can do legally when illegals steal our tax id's and then commit tax fraud using our information.

Since this happened to me personally.

However, that said, when it happened to me, the written reply to my demand that this person be, identified and be prosecuted from the IRS. Was not that the IRS has no authority or power to do so.

The response I was given, was that it is up to the IRS to decide if they will pursue it, that no they will not tell me the information of the person/person's responsible so I can take legal civil action, (after the IRS found that out and corrected their mistake during the audit). And that they had decided that no further action would be taken.

And as a result of this, I am still a year and a half later, clearing things up with the State, and Local gov's as well as credit reporting agencies.

This guy just needs to be impeached, he's sitting there bald faced lying to the Senate.
