Evidence of Police Targeting?

Great read.

So, I'm driving to my office to turn in my weekly paperwork. A headlight is out. I see a Tucson squad vehicle turn around and follow me. I'm already preparing for the stop. The lights go on and I pull over. The officer asks me how I'm doing, and then asks if I have any weapons.

"Yes, sir. I'm a concealed carry permit holder and my weapon is located on my right hip. My wallet is in my back-right pocket."

The officer explains for his safety and mine, he needs to disarm me for the stop. I understand, and I unlock the vehicle. I explain that I'm running a 7TS ALS holster but from the angle, the second officer can't unholster it. Lead officer asks me to step out, and I do so slowly. Officer relieves me of my Glock and compliments the X300U... [flashlight I put] on it. He also sees my military ID and I tell him I'm with the National Guard.

Lead officer points out my registration card is out of date but he knows my registration is up to date. He goes back to run my license. I know he's got me on at least two infractions. I'm thinking of how to pay them.

Officers return with my Glock in an evidence back, locked and cleared. "Because you were cool with us and didn't give us grief, I'm just going to leave it at a verbal warning. Get that headlight fixed as soon as possible."

Hildreth stressed the importance of respect—that the respect he showed was the respect he received.

He added:

I'm a black man wearing a hoodie and strapped. According to certain social movements, I shouldn't be alive right now because the police are allegedly out to kill minorities. Maybe... just maybe... that notion is bunk.

Maybe if you treat police officers with respect, they will do the same to you.

Police officers are people, too. By far and large, most are good people and they're not out to get you. I'd like to thank those two officers and TPD in general for another professional contact.

We talk so much about the bad apples who shouldn't be wearing a badge. I'd like to spread the word about an example of men who earned their badges and exemplify what that badge stands for.

Great story.  IMHO finding a bad cop is akin to finding a four leaf clover.  They are rare! Most cops tend to be honorable men.  By and large they have a deep desire to help people.  That is what attracts them to the force.

The problem is not that there are cops who shouldn't be cops. The problem is departments refuse to get rid of them even when they know they're "bad apples". And in many instances, that's because of the contracts they have with the "unions". And that's the problem I see. Police departments shouldn't be allowed to have unions in the first place. I mean hell, we don't allow air traffic controllers to have unions, why the hell should police departments? Seems to me the popo do a far more important job in our society.

Yeah, I get it.  Unions should be outlawed!

Student punching police officer as other students watch

Several police officers were injured trying to break up a fight between students

A female officer was be seen on the ground. A girl wearing an Allen school uniform was seen punching her. A crowd of students then surround the two. And police say some of them joined in on the assault.

Sheyhem dow is a 9th grader who said he would never hit police but he said, "If a cop put a hand on you in the wrong way or touch you in the wrong way then I think you got the right to hit 'em."

A potentially dangerous line of thinking that police say will get you arrested and prosecuted.

The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

It is definitely a slippery slope and Obama keeps greasing the skids!

Quite the contrast indeed. Testament to parenting over mere incubation for a welfare check.

Or worse yet, would escalate the situation to where the police have to use more extreme force.
Here are the 10 RINOs who voted to impeach Trump on Jan. 13, 2021 - NEVER forget!

That is EXACTLY what Obama is trying to create.

Discrediting the police is the first step in creating a federal "police state" situation!

Yes where public services such as the Police are concerned they should be. Either that or stop the double standards in our law, and let any damn body that wants to form a union do so.
