Only one time in my life have I ever donated money to a candidate via the internet. I always sent in a check. That person ran for President of the United States and that was Ted Cruz.
Since I donated via the internet I had to give my email address and man was that the biggest mistake I ever made in my life. Well..... maybe the real mistake I made was using my main email address.
Hell.... now I get more than 150 emails daily asking for money or better yet "we need money by 12 midnight or all hell is going to break loose". The best is "if you are a good conservative". The more I unsubscribe to these emails the more I get..... :confused:
I was wondering how in the world did just one donation to one of the biggest and badass conservatives in the world like Ted Cruz get so far out of hand. Well I did a little research and what I came across is Ted Cruz actually rented out his email list to Donald Trump and from there it just spread like venereal disease at a whores convention.
Now am I pissed off at Ted Cruz and Donald Trump for me being stupid...OH HELL YES, but I'll still go to bat and vote for them.
The moral of my rant is HINT HINT if you are a first time money donor via the internet DON'T give out your main email address. They will sell or rent it out and I can't blame them. Get one of those Yahoo, MSN, AOL, or some other email address.
Now I have to get me another main email address and inform everybody that I do business with that I have changed email address. What a pain in the ass this is going to be but it has to be done unless someone have a better way, please do tell.
Now everyone be truthful...how many people are in the same boat as myself....or am I the only dumb one in the group....?

It isn't a Conservative thing. It is a spamming thing. It is political neutral.
I started to get text messages on my phone - Doom and Gloom - You need to donate now.... I block one number and then would get a similar message from another number. So far I have blocked at least 7 numbers and I haven't received and new messages for about a week now.

Yes sir you are correct. I haven't received one democrat email beggin' for money. At least the republicans are staying loyal in this area of the political arena. Thank God for small things........ :thumbsup:

I have three address"s' The Gmail is used for things I never plan to answer, can't remember the last time I looked. The yahoo account for thing like this board, I do check it but never clean it out. The Spectrum is used for family and friends, bills and occasional purchase.
