Bush says Americans should have chance to work longer hours in improved economy

    What about creating a atmosphere for full-time jobs.  People are working more Hours, two or even three job to make ends meet.

Republican presidential candidate Jeb Bush said Americans should have the chance to work longer hours, a remark that drew criticism from Democrats but which he said was intended to highlight that an improved U.S. economy could create more full-time jobs.

Yeah, and most of us would be happy if one of the Bush's knew what a full time job entailed.   And this is what answers for one of our prime rep candidates for president?

Just speaking from the perspective of the LSM which is driving Bush along.  Another tongue in cheek from me today as I've not heard any good news to comment on and chances of that mood of mine are diminishing based on like reports of the day.

I haven't followed Jeb, so I'm wondering if he's talking about all the people with part time jobs, that want full time work.
The danger to America is not Barack Obama but the citizens capable of entrusting a man like him with the Presidency.

In lib land, part time jobs count as full time job.

Two ways to get more, better-paying, full time jobs:

1.  Repeal Obamacare.  It PUNISHES full time jobs!

2.  Enact Fair Tax.  It would tax imports at the same rate as domestic products.

Our current tax system is a giant NEGATIVE TARIFF!  It taxes U.S. goods, and lets imports in tax-free!

Abolish the protectionism we already have!  It's protecting FOREIGN industry!  Against OURS!

Yeah, I heard this on the radio yesterday. Clearly a gaff on his part. Let's see if the Republicans jump on him the way they jumped/dumped on Trump!

Of course they are not going to jump on Bush. He's golden with the official GOP.

JEB knows all about hard work. After he bought the Florida governor's seat, with a little help from Washington, the talk around Florida was that the big deal was Gulf drilling, off the big bend. It is shallow and fragile.

The oil companies got that. The JEB took what looks like a well deserved rest. I doubt there was any money changed hands. At that level, it is more about political connections, development connections, legal deals. But, yeah, for JEB to comment on matters of interest to the working people is a little strange. Probably not to him, though. He is royalty.

OK Jeb how about we start with getting rid of ALL foreign workers, legal and illegal and put Americans back to work? Can we do that in your world? Phony bastard talking out of both sides of his piehole.

What "Jeb!" meant to say was that Obamacare is causing companies to cut full-time jobs into part-time jobs, and we need to fix that.

But if he's so clumsy at expressing this, I don't want to depend on him defeating the Dems in any debate situation - either at an actual debate, or the larger, ongoing debate of making government policy.

Cryptic Bert

He's right if we consider most jobs "created" under the Barry administration are part time.

When people are paid by the hour they often want as many hours as they can get. That is no longer possible thanks to Obamacare.

Did he say something about a full time job?   I took it to mean "a third part time job."
