Dana Perino, on The Five, just predicted that Al Frankin will start positioning himself this year to challange Trump in 2020.
One of the other Five members called it a "SNL election."

Al Franken (Lunatic-MN) used to be a comedian, but now he IS a joke.
He rode Obama's coattails to the Senate in 2008.
He actually lost the election by 215 votes,
but before the recount, the Dems "found" another 527 votes.
In 2014, he won re-election against Republican Mike McFadden
with 53.9% of the vote.
Yes, please Run Al Maybe even get him to do an Al Jolson style vaudeville routine in Blackface. Or a slapstick number as "Larry" from the 3 stooges.
Franken 2020! Run Al, run!!!

A repeatedly-failed system and a lack of common sense.

They could run Hillary again! After all they all said she was the most qualified person to ever run! We need a Hillary rematch!!
I have the gut feeling we will be facing one of two extreme situations next presidential election. First, Trump steps on his dick, and the dims run anyone they want for a shoe in. Second, Trump manages to keep, or at least make significant progress on most of his campaign "suggestions", earning the respect of not only conservatives but of the middle and the dims run a throw-away like they did when Reagan was running for hi second term.

Good point, we have been seriously watching Trump for over a year now and we still have little to go on as to how he will govern. He is picking out a pretty damn good cabinet and I am shocked. If this continues and he listens to them, he could be great, OR .......But I have to admit I am ok with him so far, but am watching closely. We will know more when the first crisis hits.
Dana Perino attempted to explain her Al Frankin prediction on The Five today.
She said she chose him because the Dems would need ssomeone with star power to go against Trump in 2020.
Al Frankin? Star power?
Avoid the rush, Dems, re-elect Trump Now.
Every time I read the title, I can't help but think of a real bad horror flop, er, rather flick.

Frankin, president, that would be a horror show.
The dems are running Cory Booker out to testify against Jeff Sessions today. He is a "pretty" Black guy and never discount democrats from playing the race card.

Yeah, extremely low budget horror film....
Or rather "Low Rent" if you get my drift.
I thought the Dems were going to run one of the freaky looking Castro brothers in 2020.
Al Franken? Why not?
He's good enough. He's smart enough, and gosh darn it people like him.
Seriously though I think it mentions something about Stuart Smalley rising in the West in Revelation as being a sign of the end times.
No Joke: Al Frankin For PresidentQuote
Al Franken isn't a punch line in the Senate anymore. He's emerged as one of the Democrats' most aggressive and effective questioners of President Trump's Cabinet nominees. He's generated numerous made-for-TV clips as one of the few Democrats willing to go full-bore against his party's top targets—Jeff Sessions, Tom Price, and Betsy DeVos. He's finally showing some personality in the Senate, punctuated by his laugh-out-loud exchange with Energy Secretary-designate Rick Perry. And he'll be one of nine Democrats on the Judiciary Committee questioning Trump's Supreme Court nominee, Neil Gorsuch. This is Al Franken's moment in the spotlight, and if he chooses, he could parlay his good fortune into a bid for the presidency in 2020.
To be sure, Franken, 65, may not be the Democrats' strongest candidate in the general election. His deeply liberal politics and long-standing dismissiveness of Republicans turn off many voters in the middle. But with Democrats looking for strident opposition to Trump in the early days of his presidency, they're probably not going to be in a pragmatic mood in the primaries. So far, much of the liberal excitement has centered around Sens. Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders, but they will be 71 and 79, respectively, during the general election. Neither has shown any ability to win support outside the most progressive precincts. Franken, at least, can point to a record of electability with groups that Democrats will need to win over.

The same could be said about Hillary. There was less enthusiasm for her campaign than Leprosy.

I agree Clinton, Inc. is the best shakedown project in political history. That is saying something when one considers the operations of the reverends Jackson and Sharpton.

Exactly the point, and believe it or not, I saw libs refer to it as one of the greatest accomplishments of any candidate, including Trump.
That's like holding up Capone as a successful businessman if you ignore the body count..
Oh, wait, body count, Clintons?
