Well, turning from God is like stepping off a cliff, the first step is a doozy.

Athiests believe there is no God.
To know that there is now, never was, nor ever will be a God anywhere in (let's limit it to this universe...) one would have to be God.
And sorry, you aren't.

Thus, you might want to try Agnostic.

Logic lesson of the day complete.

I have no issue with that, at least they acknowledge something created life, that you don't just vanish when it's all over. some of our very own Founders were agnostics.
Though myself,? I could never believe that to be the case, because God literally blessed my entire life. Maybe I'm an optimist and purely lucky and life gave me the lottery win?

Nah, God directly intervenes in my life and I wouldn't have it any other way.

You're confusing Agnostic with Deism.  Agnostics say they don't know.  Deists do believe in God, but not Christianity.  Some of our founders were deists.

No hate. I have to take a stand. Same with you on other things. I 100% support you not buying after the company gives support to them. Same with me. I am not buying it anymore. Had enough of the betrayel.

News flash, you won't be missed. You seem to have lost Focus. The church has never been a building or a preacher or a pastor or a father or a minister. The church is but people who are members of the body of Christ. Even the first churches in Paul's day had infiltrators who he referred to as wolves in sheep clothing. I stopped calling myself a Christian at least 10 years ago because of the baggage that you talked about. To anybody that asks I am a follower of Jesus. You seem to be focused on man who will always let you down rather than Jesus Who Will Never Let You Down.
I do consider myself a Christian and on occasion will use that term to describe my beliefs. The problem isn't really with the word Christian, the problem is with the way people use it in describing people and organizations that are truly ungodly and have profaned the tenets of what a Christian is

Nobody seemed to give a damn about the 'great falling away' when the National council of churches were on Bubba Clinton's side in sending that poor little boy Elian Gonzales home to be indoctrinated with Communism.

I spent too many years having to defend Christianity from lefties. All that bad-mouthing, and they turn around and prop up Islam in the same breath.

I see too many Churches with rainbow flags, BLM signs, and other crap. Now they are helping the agitators, rioters, and criminals. The same type of people who burned down a church recently.

I am not associated with the average leftist atheist. I am starting a new version of atheism. You are welcome to join. I am not sure what to call it, but here is my stance on it:

1. Islam is enemy number one - they are international terrorists, period.
2. Christianity (among other Western religions) - you are now an accessory by aiding and abetting criminal and sinful activities and people, period.
3. This is reserved for any other valid religion.
4. This is reserved for any invalid (made up) religion.

Don't try to change my mind, or lecture me. My mind is made up. I am done. I am now an atheist.

Islam...international terrorists....yes; some for sure.    Christians....been there...done that.

" Brothers and sisters, do not slander one another. Anyone who speaks against a brother or sister or judges them speaks against the law and judges it. When you judge the law, you are not keeping it, but sitting in judgment on it.    12 There is only one Lawgiver and Judge, the one who is able to save and destroy. But you—who are you to judge your neighbor?" James 4:11-12
