This really needs more work,
but what's here should make the point pretty well.
Jesus - born of a virgin
Muhammad - ordinary birth
Jesus - announced by a forerunner (John), whose birth was also miraculous (aged mother)
Muhammad - no forerunner
Jesus - coming was prophesied by numerous prophets for over a thousand years previous
Muhammad - claims to have been prophesied by Jesus in John 14:26 & 15:26
(where Jesus prophesied the coming of the Holy Spirit)
Jesus - spent his entire life studying scriptures - could quote them verbatim
Muhammad - never learned to read
Jesus - at age twelve, could discuss scriptures better than Judaism's top scholars
Muhammad - as adult, misquoted scriptures that he had heard second hand,
persecuted and exterminated Jews for exposing his ignorance
Jesus - came not to destroy the Law, but to fulfill it
Muhammad - claimed that the Law was wrong, came to "correct" it
Jesus - performed numerous miracles
Muhammad - no miracles claimed
Jesus - taught charity and forgiveness
Muhammad - taught (and practiced) plunder and cruelty
Jesus - lived frugally ("foxes have holes, Son of Man has no place to lay his head")
Muhammad - became wealthy through plunder
Jesus - exposed faults of Judaism's top leaders in public debate (Mark chapter 7, etc.)
Muhammad - faults were exposed by Judaism's followers, so he exterminated them
Jesus - laid down his life to make forgiveness available for even his enemies
Muhammad - took many lives, in one case killed over 800 for not joining his war
Jesus - raised from the dead
Muhammad - still dead
Jesus - made supernatural appearances after his death
Muhammad - no such appearances
Jesus - followers were in one accord after his departure
Muhammad - followers started killing one another after his departure
Jesus - taught humility, servanthood (the greatest of you will be humble like this child)
Muhammad - followers killed one another to become ruler after his death
Jesus - followers performed numerous miracles after his departure
Muhammad - no miracles claimed
Jesus - his religion spread like wildfire, in spite of violent opposition
Muhammad - his religion spread like wildfire, BECAUSE of violent enforcement!
So is this religion 101. (https://conservativepoliticalforum.com/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fi888.photobucket.com%2Falbums%2Fac82%2Fjordy_rym%2FOldy%2Fundecided.gif&hash=5c3fd4111b33d4a6dc2271b8c4623c9bb9f51faf)

If only more people even cared!

If only more people even cared!
Many are called, FEW are chosen.
They will care as Islam begins to disrupt our peaceful lives.

Jesus - followers were in one accord after his departure
Muhammad - followers started killing one another after his departure
Sadly, no.
The Inquisition was all about that. Pray for the Cathars.
Fortunately, Christians eventually learned to get along.
Muslims, no. Give them another thousand years to grow up.

Jesus' followers WERE unified after he left.
The killing started many centuries later.
Obviously, that would indicate that they had strayed far from his teaching.
Muslims? As long as they stay in Islam,
I doubt that they would EVER become peaceful.
If they did, that would indicate that they had strayed from Muhammad's teaching.
Some scholars cite the 1400's as the time Christianity really fell apart.
People could not believe their God would allow the Black Plague to occur.
Have you read this ?

It occured because PEOPLE rejected basic laws of sanitation (which the Bible covers).
It could happen again. We're doing the same things.
