I Believe God Wants You To Know

My plan is to post one each day. I'll post the link below it today and then dispense with it going forward if that is okay. Here's today's and yesterday's

I believe God wants you to know ...

... that the degree to which people have evolved
is instantly revealed through what
they call entertainment and 'fun'.

What do you call 'entertainment'?
What do you describe as being 'fun'? How do you
spend your free time? How do you spend your
entertainment dollars? How much television do you watch?
How many movies do you see? What kind
of programs and films do you spend time on?
How many books have you read this month?
How many concerts have you caught? How many ballets
have you seen? What kind of music do you listen to?

Does any of this matter? You might just as well ask
if it matters what kind of food you eat.
Nourishment for the mind is no different from
nourishment for the body. What you put in is
what you get back -- in triplicate.

On this day of your life, I believe God wants you to know...

...that negative passions may run high,
but they do not have to rule you.

Your inner peace, and the sanctity of your being, are not worth trashing because of some negative feeling you have about something. Just let it go, and return to the knowing and experiencing of who you really are.

Try not to abandon the self. Try very hard.
In the end, your soul will be so grateful.

I believe God wants you to know ...

... that the mere apprehension of a coming evil has
put many into a situation of the utmost danger.

F.L. Lucan said that, and it is right. There is no faster
way to bring about misfortune than to think it is coming.
Thought is a powerful force, and it is a creative tool
that many people give little energy to --
or abandon in the face of any real threat
to safety or stability.

What are you worried about today? Why?
Rather than worry about it, would it not be
a better use of your mental time to visualize
a positive outcome? Use your mind in this way today
and you will have tapped one of the most
extraordinary tools God has placed in your hand
for the creation of your tomorrows.

... that all of life is animated by a single fantastic energy,
which is the essence of everything that is -- including you.

Isn't that amazing? Now, because this essence is who you are
and what you are made of, it can obviously never leave you.
Perhaps not so obviously, it can also be wonderfully helpful.
It can bring you peace in moments of stress,
strength in moments of weakness,
courage in moments of fear,
wisdom in moments of confusion,
forgiveness in moments of anger,
and love in all the moments of your life.

All you have to do is know that this is true,
and it will be true for you, right now.

I think that's terrific, don't you?

You already know the reason
that this particular reminder
came to you today...

That's it in a nutshell, and why it's a gift. None of the aforementioned exist beyond our little carved out reality.
I've written about this over the decades, but that one paragraph is so concise, it took me pages to encapsulate it.
Life was always meant to be simple, but somehow others saw it necessary to control others, and the rest is history.

... that your light is seen, your heart is known, your soul
is cherished by more people than you might imagine.

If you knew how many others have been touched in
wonderful ways by you, you would be astonished. If
you knew how many people feel so much for you, you
would be shocked.

You are far more wonderful than you think you are.
Rest with that. Rest easy with that. Breathe again. You
are doing fine. More than fine. Better than fine. You're
doin' great. So relax. And love yourself today.

Then take in God's love. Right now, take it in.
You deserve it.

It's interesting that all of the posts involve feelings, beliefs, thoughts and human desires but, NOT ONE post ever points anyone to God, Jesus, the Word of God, Salvation, Heaven, righteousness nor the cross.

to tell you exactly what you need to hear.
