Is he talking about Obama?

I have to admit, he's growing on me!  As I've proven elsewhere, the Founders agree.

QuoteRepublican presidential candidate and former pediatric neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Carson called the Muslim faith incompatible with the Constitution and said he would not support a Muslim for president of the United States.

Asked whether a president's faith mattered, Carson responded on "Meet the Press" Sunday, "I guess it depends on what that faith is. If it's inconsistent with the values and principles of America, then of course it should matter. But if it fits within the realm of America and [it's] consistent with the Constitution, [then] no problem."

"Do you believe that Islam is consistent with the Constitution?" asked Chuck Todd.

"I would not advocate that we put a Muslim in charge of this nation," replied Carson, who is third in the Washington Examiner's presidential power rankings. "I absolutely would not agree with that."

I think he framed it properly. He tied the Muslim belief to our Constitution and made a good point. They are totally opposite.

Interesting.  Carson is hitting on something that is true of Islam that it isn't just a religion but the way they govern in Islamic nations.  I believe that some day we are going to have to confront the reality that Islam is contrary to our Constitution.  But then there is the argument that our Constitution give everyone the right to run for President.

What do you think?  Is our Constitution already strong enough to protect our country from Sharia Law?

The 'Country' is strong enough but the people running it are not.

America is too damn big and to de centralized to enforce Sharia (OR ANY OTHER TYPE) of law the people reject.

Here is an interesting note...if we had Sharia Law then there would be no "gay marriage'.  Theives would also get their hands or fingers cut off.

What does the Islamic website say.    Says that faith and government cannot be separate.  Here is what the Quran says.

This website is a great resource, but it's not Islamic. It exposes Islam

And those refusing to bow their knee to the false, moon god worshipping man they call a "prophet", or pay the muzzies for the privilege of staying alive, would get publicly beaten, stoned or worse yet, their heads cut off.

No thanks we can all do without sharia law in the U.S.

No the Constitution does not give everyone the right to run for President. The Constitution in point of fact actually places limits on just who can or cannot be President.
