Wow!  I just watched a show produced in 2018 that depicts exactly what is happening today.  It's a bit corny, but it shows a tech controlled world of the future under one party rule that silences the opposition.  Democrats have started us down this road.  Conservatives and our constitution is the only one thing in their way. 

It was written by Philip Kindred Dick back in the eighties.  We didn't heed his warning.

He also wrote "The Man In The High Castle" that shows a world where Nazi's control the east coast and imperial Japan controls the west coast.  I almost fell off my chair when it   showed a statue of Lincoln being torn down.  Skip the last episode for the better ending if you watch it.  The reviews for the finale were bad.

I don't know why the moderators moved it here.  It was more of a political post showing how current events were predicted in the past.  Oh well.  I guess I didn't word it properly.

Simple comments are for existing threads. On this forum a preferred thread has actual meat, we're at war at the moment, and with all the news breaking, simple comments just push more important threads off the front page.

But you're Right, make it count, word them carefully, make a Great point that can stand on its own. What I saw was someone commenting on a move most never viewed.
