Fellow Republican & Dune author Frank Herbert would be proud.
It will be hard to top the 84 version. Of course this one will be over sensationalized, and while I'd love to watch it, I cannot stand Dave Bautista the LGBTQ apologist. I'll have to wait for GOTG III to hit Amazon, because while I like the franchise, I will never put another dime in Bautista's pocket, and judging by the flops that are his solo efforts, many agree.
Oh. Bautista. I won't see it until it costs me nothing.
Didn't he bad mouth Trump supporters?
Sigh.... I've seen/own 2 versions of Dune & Children of Dune, read the books a long time ago, before the movies. I think the SciFi channel version was the better of them... Sting added a nice touch too.
Some movies, ought to be left alone. For instance, the latest version of, "Battle of the Bulge" is a total waste of time, IMO. Replacing action with dry dialogue - and not like the English Movies, no, not that kind of sharp, witty dialogue.. but, dry, boring, poorly delivered... nearly put me to sleep, totally ruined the movie.
I watched the 2000 something version on HBO or Showtime, I was overseas at the time.....loved the visuals, love the butterfly hats & robes the women wore. Ian McNiece the floating fat man was the perfect villian
