Last time I got roast beef on a flight... December 1983, flew to Hawaii with Wifey and brother.
on a Stretch 8... It took me a DAY to get function back into my legs - but, it was worth it.
We got in a Chartered flight, they ordered real meals there and back as part of the flight.

Flying commercial use to be great. The airlines acted like they really wanted you there and appreciated your business. Some flights even had coctail lounges, imagine that and you had space to streach out even in economy. Now it's about the very last place I want to be and the last thing I want to do. I just as soon drive myself as give those assholes my business or my money then put up with their shit.
