Bubba went to Florida State University on a football scholarship. He was a great running back, but a poor student. Come graduation day, Bubba didn't have enough credits to graduate; he had, however, become a legend as a football star and the students held a rally and demanded the dean give him a diploma anyway. They were so insistent that the dean agreed if Bubba could answer one question correctly he would give him a diploma.

The one question test was held in the auditorium and all the students packed the place. It was standing room only. The dean was on the stage and told Bubba to come up. The dean had the diploma in his hand and said, "Bubba, if you can answer this question correctly I'll give you your diploma."

Bubba said he was ready and the dean asked him the question. "Bubba," he said, "how much is three times seven?"

Bubba looked up at the ceiling and the down at his shoes, just pondering the question. The students began chanting, "Graduate him anyway! Graduate him anyway!"

Then Bubba held up his hand and the auditorium became silent. Bubba said, "I think I know the answer. Three times seven is twenty-one."

A hush fell over the auditorium and the students began another chant: "Give him another chance! Give him another chance!"

Excellent one.

It reinforces the adage;  Colleges are fountains of knowledge... and its students are there to drink.

Sounds like this would be a very popular story on the U of Miami campus.

"He was born with the gift of laughter and the sense that the world was mad."

I was unsure about where to put this. While there is a trace of humor in it, it's really more truth than fiction.

The important thing is it's here for comments.

There has to be some truth behind it to be funny as Solar would say.

I'm merely a visitor here, am still learning the site, and have NO problems with anything Solar does with my posts.

LOL it was 84°F out yesterday so I did a 25 ride on my quad.  Run into a herd of deer around 25 I would say, the best I could count.   They were up on the high ridge as it is running around 80+º now for us.
