Just out side of my computer room (outside) it is 133º in the sun.  In the shade it is 103º.  Wind out of the W @ 6 mph.   Nothing under 90º + for the next 10 days.

Some of the farmers started putting in their second crops for the year.   My  Neighbor just did his second cutting of alfalfa (he has 5 circles) and will do two more cutting yet this year.  He has 6 circles of sweet corn.  Did I say my wife love sweet corn.

I know what you mean, I live in a region commonly thought to (jokingly) have year-round ice fishing.  I am sure we will average out with fridged weather this winter.
My only real complaint is I am about 8 weeks from this bun being done cooking and I can't seem to cool off no matter how much I sit in front of the AC.

Wait until you hit 45 or 50 when menopause starts set in. My wife has been going through it for over 35 years now.  She like the house at 65º I like it at 80º +.   When I am inside it is Flannel shirt time. When I am out side it comes off.  I have one at the front door and one at the back door at all time.   In the winter time I use a space heater in my puter room.  We won't even talk about the truck AC.

JustKari - I do not envy you one bit - pregnant in the summer can be miserable.  My second daughter, now 24, was early June and that was enough summer heat for me at that size.    Hang in there.   Toy

Hmmm... JustKari, do you know if it is a boy or girl?  If so what name will you bestow on the newborn.

Ultrasound says boy, which means I will have two girls and two boys.  He is currently, affectionately called HeWhoHasYetToBeNamed because my husband has not put together his name list for us to decide.

LOL  That was my wife job, until she said the son will be call a Jr.   I said no way, he will have his own name.  So she switch the first name and middle name around that way he had his own name, no Jr.   She had a younger brother that was a Jr. and she remember the problems he had with his dad name.

I just saw your signature at the bottom.  (Yes, as a matter of fact I do shoot like a girl.)    My wife is classified as a sharpshooter with a pistol and rifle. She love her 357 Colt python mag revolver, it has been her sidearm for 27 years.

While I may be no sharpshooter, my father taught me well and taught me young.  He felt it was important for everyone to know how to handle a gun properly.  I don't think he ever expected me to take as much interest in shooting as I have.  I love Smith & Wesson, have not found a caliber yet that I don't like, though the cost has meant that I only get to shoot those my father owns LOL.  My father lets me shoot his Glock 21 short frame, and that was smooooooooth, might be my favorite.  My own stash is pretty small, but we save for "Christmas Ordinance" :)

Great I was thinking so.  I have the Glock 17 as a sidearm.  The wife also has a   smith & wesson snub nose 38 backup for her handbag.

Your father was a very wise man.
