The response from one NAACP leader after Mitt Romney's speech before the organization on Wednesday? He favors white people.

"I believe his vested interests are in white Americans," Charlette Stoker Manning, the chairwoman of Women in NAACP, told the website BuzzFeed following the Republican candidate's Wednesday speech in Houston.

"You cannot possibly talk about jobs for black people at the level he's coming from. He's talking about entrepreneurship, savings accounts — black people can barely find a way to get back and forth from work," Manning said.

Romney was booed at several points throughout his speech — the loudest being when Romney spoke of his desire to see "Obamacare" repealed. The Republican also received applause at times throughout the speech, notably for saying he'd protect traditional marriage.

A politician finally stands in front of them and speaks to them as Americans, not a a minority that needs coddling and they once again claim racism. Romney didn't go in there with a fake "black" accent like Hillary and Obama and they don't get it. Because Romney's beliefs do not coincide with many of their own that makes him a racist.

When was the last time one of the clowns stepped outside of their comfort zone? How often do they appear on Conservative shows? They don't They stay in the Liberal vacuum.

They deserve what the have. 14 percent unemployment.

They weren't listening. Romney's point was, that they don't deserve 14% unemployment.

I'm really taken aback by Manning's statement. It's sickening.

He's suggesting that black people are incapable of having bank accounts and starting businesses. He's suggesting that if black people were able to get jobs, they are too stupid to find a way to work. Could you imagine if Romney said something like that?

WTF?

Blind racist hate, that's why they can't get it.
Equal opportunity for all is viewed as racist to those that expect special treatment.
I'm sorry, but the slave card is all punched out, that debt has been long laid to rest and paid in full.

It's a little confusing to say the least.

I can't remember ever hearing black people described in such a sorry assed way, as the way Manning described them. They should be outraged.

You should understand, that much of the NAACP is made up of the "big frogs in a small pond". The majority are government workers, and many of them hold jobs in the Social Services bureaucracy. Obviously they have no interest in things getting better for black people as a group, because then they would be out of jobs. And, of course, as government pogies, they are hard core Dems. They no more represent the vast majority of blacks, than government unions represent the vast majority of workers. The media loves them because they can be counted upon to put a "Democratic face" on blacks in general. BTW, I see that no notice was made of the fact that at the end Romney received a standing ovation. And where the hell was Obozo?

Exactly the point I was going to make Giles!

Much has been made about the booing he received, but even FOX News didn't point out that he got a standing O at the close!

If I were in the Romney camp, I'd run this statement over and over......................followed by the question, "Who doesn't think much of black people?"

See my point above about the Social Services bureaucracy. These people hold their clients in contempt. Many of them don't live anywhere near their clients or else they would see the millions of black people who aren't their clients, trudging backwards and forwards to work every day.

EDIT: I can understand why, and how, they miss all these people. At the end of the day, the "Povertycrats" go out to the parking lot, climb into their cars, and drive back to the suburbs.

What I find interesting, is that the hedges tend to hide how large it actually is.

I'm sure that was intentional. The part we can see, looks to be the reception area............the roof keeps on going back. Who knows how far?

That's also the only picture of Jesse's house that appears on the internet. I won't be surprised if it's not up for long.

Not only does the roof line keep going back, but if you look at the right behind that hedge, we can see that the house begins to expand outward.

Martin Luther King would be rolling in his grave if he knew what Jesse has done..................and continues to do.

Truly successful black people, (on a large scale), would bring Jesse's gravy train to a screeching halt.
