On topic, I suck at coming up with new passwords, so I've started placing my hand randomly on the keyboard, and hittind the keys I'm touching in a specific order. Seemingly works good enough.

The best method for me, is to take an important time in history and mix it with the last three letters of that persons name.
Say bus1492 from Columbus 1492.
Works for me, easy to remember as well, that is if you know important dates in history, which is something young hackers are clueless about, just look at the libs that post here of the same age group, completely clueless about history and how we got to where we are today.
So there is no way a young hacker would ever connect the dots.

I take my screenname, turn it into numbers, turn them around, add a dash/asterix/backslash/etc, then promptly forget what my password is. Thankfully, I have "Winders" to remember them all for me......................

I make an anagram of the product of the site I am using, lets say for conservative political forum, Anagram the product (Information) into "IFROMNATION" And roll my dungeons and dragons hitch hikers guide edition 42 sided die and reverse the number.
