My name is Ashe Perry, and I am conducting an undergraduate psychology study investigating people's attitudes to a small variety of social and political issues in American society. In order to participate in the study, respondents need to be American citizens 18 years of age or older. As part of the study, participants will rate their agreement or disagreement to twenty statements covering four socio-political topics. After the short survey, participants will be randomly assigned to read an essay related to one of the four topics. Once the essay has been read, participants will be asked to complete a short follow-up survey similar to the first. During the initial survey, a few basic demographic questions will be asked; however, no personally identifiable data will be requested or collected. All responses will be completely confidential. Participation in the study is purely voluntary, and participants may end the study at any time. No compensation will be offered. There are no expected risks for participants in the study. Depending on the length of the essay and how quickly the participants can complete the reading, the total time to complete the study should be 40 minutes or less.

Thank you for your time. I greatly appreciate your cooperation and assistance with this study.

I'll leave it up to the members if they want to take a leftists survey.
But your line of questions exposes your obvious bias.

I think he should be looking on a Lib Forum.  I for one should be the only one deciding how much and to who and when, I give my money to. :cursing:

I love how he claims questions that are intended top invoke guilt on the questioner, are somehow supposed to illicit an honest response.

This whole piece of shit was designed for one purpose in mind, to sway people in how they view the subject.
What they will discover however, is most Conservatives have a base of morality from which they adhere, giving is a personal issue, and real givers do not look for recognition, they simply do it anonymously.
Fuck these morons trying to guilt people into accepting that Gov be the sole caretaker of the needy!

You've seen the lack of intellectual liberals posting all over the Internet, would you go to a lib site for help?

I really doubt the sincerity of the author in that they are looking for answers, but rather it is an attempt at swaying an opinion.
From the answers they glean several things. One is they managed to sway the target audience, they created doubt in ones personal belief system, and of course, created dialog on a subject that is near and dear to the lib, creating a victim class, where none exists.
No one is starving in this country, and its not the Governments place, nor the taxpayers responsibility to feed the rest of the world.

If libs feel this guilty about hunger abroad, let them get off their ass and go over there and remedy the problem themselves.

Then theres the fallacy that a perverted group is being disallowed rights.
They can marry the opposite sex just like anyone else.
What they want is special extended rights.
I wonder if they've taken into account thousands of years of cultural success in the area and why opening Pandora's box is just a lifeline for bestiality and pedophilia to step in?

I'd like to see this kid come back and defend this piece of shit survey! :glare:

I suppose this kid can justify his ever trying an on-line thing like this, on the grounds it would offer a geographically-wider spectrum of responses. Okay, I can buy that. What I cannot buy is the amazing lack of political awareness on the part of this kid, for ever trying such a leftist-slanted survey HERE.

Even if he never heard of us ten minutes before signing in (and I suspect that it's true), the word CONSERVATIVE in the forum title SHOULD have given Our Lad a clue. Nope. Not one scintilla of a single molecule of awareness, doing that one.

But should he come back, let's ask him if he'll ever repay his student loans without declaring bankruptcy, or ever find a job in the field of his dreams. Let's ask him what happens when our government runs out of other people's money, to spend of the Muslim Brotherhood which has openly vowed death to America.

Let's ask him lots of things. He's in college. He's a bright lad. Perhaps if we make our case plain enough, he might see how partisan that survey is --- and why.

Actually, I blame it on my watching so much science fiction, lately, to help me escape the horror of the Obama Trauma. Just finished the entire new run of Dr. Who and then Torchwood and now Stargate SGU, and I gotta tell ya, those weird spindly creatures and far-out space ships are a WHOLE lot easier to take than Hussein, Lord of the TelePrompterâ„¢.

God help me, the frau's looking at the Chicago-based World Science Fiction convention as our anniversary jaunt. I'll be surrounded by people with green skin and Klingon batlefs, and think I'm right there amongst the same kind of kids who cook up such "impartial" political surveys....
