I just saw this.  Is this James O'Keefe's video?

The education issue is like that.

Stuff that, in most other venues, would kick of all sorts of anger gets a pass in the education area.

It's weird but much of what supports the current system consists of nothing more then apathy, inertia and the absence of viable, credible alternatives. But that seems to be enough to justify an entire profession in which earnings are unrelated to skill and skills are ignored where they aren't actively discouraged.

  I said on LNF I worked for a New Jersey school district after I retired and originally moved to jersey to be closer to a couple of my daughters....the the Njea is organized crime...school administrators are actually afraid to make any moves against them...you are forced into the NJEA as an employee in any capacity...teacher, maintenance, cafeteria or you CANT WORK THERE....do you realize the implications of that...you join the union or you CANT WORK and you will pay the dues....tenure needs to go not only in NJ but nation wide
    Having said all that...even Chris Christie may fail with the NJEA...they own every democrat in NJ lock stock and barrel

You might be right about the NJEA but the times, they are a changin'.

Who would have thought that a Democrat president would be giving the teacher's unions conniptions? But that's what Obama's done with Race to The Top.

There's an organization call "Democrats for Education Reform" and it's filled with red-meat lefties whose "progressive" credentials are impeccable. People like Davis Guggenheim. But on the education issue, like Obama, they're nothing but a source of pain for the people who depend on the public education status quo.

We now return to the sound of crickets on the subject because conservatives were and continue to be AWOL on the subject of education reform.

I don't see what the big deal is with this video.  I see a bunch of teachers just blowing off some steam. 

OF COURSE they don't like Christie.  OF COURSE they are going to "talk shop" and talk about some of their students in a negative way.  Of COURSE they believe they are bulletproof because they are union members. 

If anything, this video just sheds more light on what is WRONG with our educational system.
