Everything we do on this forum is about researching the truth, that will be a dead talent once AI gets a hold of them and people become lazy thinkers.

I hate to say this, but between us old guys, we won't have to be around to deal with it much longer...   That said, if we lose a whole generation we will lose the country and the world...

I watched the whole thing. It was good. I am reminded of an old suggestion that computers should not be used much until college.

I also recently heard that even in elite colleges, students seldom read an entire book any more and consider that a major imposition.

I agree, computers should not be allowed in class, and it should be mandatory that all work turned in, should be screened for AI meddling.
So much for personal pride in a job well done. What we're teaching kids today is, cheating is fine if it get's you ahead.
